used to be

you had to at least turn over a rock to find an antisemite. nowadays they're just popping up spontaneously, proud of their courage in confronting the vast international zionist conspiracy which is apparently the greatest threat to goodness and happitude.

Apparently there's no middle ground allowed between thinking Saddam was a great progressive statesman and thinking that Israel is the only hope for civilization in the Middle East because the Arabs are hopeless brutes. Must be true, because i hear it from the loons on the left and the loons on the right, both, in their neverending argument.

he is a shape-shifting reptile sent by socialists from other planets who hate america. if he isn't, then why can't he prove it?

'I would like to have them clarify the Constitution by defining precisely what is meant by the phrase "natural-born citizen." '

Exactly why the court is happy to demur, I expect.

shifting standards of proof

of course, the folks who refuse to believe in the titanic 47 year hoax intended to place a muslim arab socialist america-hating black christian born in kenya who was an indonesian citizen as president by planting phony birth announcements in the hawaii papers but which forgot to brief his kenyan grandmother on the proper answers and also didn't have the ability to decently photoshop up a phony birth certificate (phew), are the exact same folks who to this day believe that there was damn persuasive proof that Saddam not only had WMD stacked up but was in daily contact with bin laden about where the big "heartland strike" was going to come next, and that WMD will show up any day now, it's probably in Syria or somewhere.

the older i get, the further i get from my idealistic youthful belief that even the least likely people have something that they can teach me. it's clear that contact with somewhere between 25 and 50% of the US population actually makes you stupider than before. i find this worrisome.

honestly, folks..

a return to Bill Clinton republicanism would be such a huge improvement, we can worry about getting Kucinich elected in our spare time.

Original article: The born conspiracy

there's only one way to solve this

obama has to provide his DNA to be tested, so we can see if he has American DNA. It's the scientific way.
