Wait, stop- we have to take showers first!

I was thinking the same thing about the guy who wrote that oral sex only happens immediately after a shower and mouthwash use. Bwahh ha haha ha! Dude, did you know that you're actually gay? Or at the very least, you have some major issues. When people are hot for each other, oral sex pretty much happens whenever and wherever the mood strikes.

Things change

I don't know why it's self-righteous to discuss how meat production harms the planet. I'm vegan- for ethical and environmental reasons. I didn't become vegan so I could feel superior, believe me. That would wear off real quick.

It can be a huge pain trying to find something to order at an American restaurant, and go to your local supermarket and look for any packaged food that doesn't contain chicken stock or a milk product. I spend a lot of money on food and I gave up things I grew up with that I missed at first. Again, no one chooses this lifestyle because of you. It's not about you. It's about realizing that you just can't contribute to an industry that you don't believe in.

Things change. Abolishing slavery had a major impact on the economy and people's lifestyles, but no one would argue that we should have kept doing it because it was tradition. People used animals for food for a long time. The planet can no longer support this practice, period. Deal with it.

Hillary is the one with no chance to win the general election. Sorry.

Not rocket science. Half the country actively despises her. The GOP is literally salivating at the thought that she will be the nominee. They are desperate for it. It's the only point they have to rally on. If Dems hand that to them, it will be the single most idiotic thing we could have done.

Obama, on the other hand, is liked by a lot of Republicans. Even the white supremacists aren't complaining much about him.

An aside- what happens to Edwards' delegates once he drops out? Nothing? They just evaporate, or do they go to someone else?

It's time for some fresh blood.

I dearly wish both Clintons would just go away. There is something repugnant about two families trading the presidency back and forth for 6 terms. Bill has made a total ass of himself and has lost a vast amount of credibility.

The GOP desperately wants HRC to be the nominee. Why? We all know why. Half the country actively despises her. It's the only rallying point the Republicans have. Why in God's name would be hand that to them? If we do, I believe we are diggin our own grave.

We need Obama. Now.

Sorry to burst your bubble-

But Obama has shown he can win among every demographic group.

Those who keep harping that electing a black president is impossible- seem to wish that that were actually the case. Why? I believe they are comforted by the familiar and terrified of change (or they are just racist).

Sorry, but the rest of us will just move on past while you stay stuck in the quicksand.

Someone at Salon- would you PLEASE stop this mentally ill person from filling the letters section up with their endless spam. We are tired of having to scroll through it!

Do you want to make the Republicans happy?

Then vote for Hillary. Go ahead- they want you to.

In fact, they are even more desperate for HRC to win the nomination than they are to have their name mentioned in the same paragraph as Reagan's. Did you hear good ole' Ann Coulter put in her bid for Hil today? See- the Reps want everyone to think that HRC can't be beat. They are afraid to even mention Obama's name.

The chance to beat HRC is THE ONLY way to ensure Reps come out and vote for whichever abysmal candidate they end up with. They don't want to talk about Obama because hey, a lot of Reps actually like the guy. And a lot of them do not like McCain.

I've been on the leading white power website a couple of times lately, thinking I would see the message boards lit up with anti-Obama tirades. Interestingly, I saw one feeble post about Islam in his family. All the rest were about whether Ron Paul is WP enough to vote for.

Apparently Obama does not even inspire hatred among strong racists. Hillary however, inspires hatred in half the country.

Hillary will unite the Republican party, and they will come out to vote against her. Obama will win the independent vote. Hillary will not. Obama will win the general election, and win it easily against the toad-like, warhawk curmudgeon McCain.

Vote Obama.

Lol Anon...

You can post the same silly comments referring to Obama as an 'empty suit' until the cows come home. No one here is buying. Sorry.

It amazes me that there are Democrats complaining about this

I found it stunning during John Kerry's campaign that liberals spent the entire time bitching, moaning and endlessly kvetching because he didn't happen to be their own personal holy grail of a candidate.

Now they are doing the same thing with Obama. He went to the middle on FISA, therefore he is suddenly without any value as a candidate. I'm starting to wonder if you all are about 13 years old emotionally.

There's this thing- it's called REALITY. There's this thing called winning. Either he wins, or he does not. Obama cannot be the holy grail of liberals and win the election. Intellectually, you know that, yet you choose to complain anyway- and you complain where independents pick up on it. This is partly why Kerry lost the election, and we had 4 more years of Bush.

It astonishes me that people don't seem to understand that.

Now you're complaining because Obama hired smart people to run his campaign who want to use every tool available? I'm with the first poster, should he be using carrier pigeons instead?

I'm sorry. I actually think it matters who wins the election.
