@dalefi

Yes I did. Fist off those medical benefits are worth an extra 12,000.00 a year, the pension benefits are worth another 10,000.00 per year. Sometimes people have to think about the future. Futures need to be protected. If you've even been sick or in an accident you will know that these will save you untold amounts of money. Like myself my son is and IT worker, a permanent job with benefits is inevitably more important as many IT/Programming jobs don't come with benefits and when the project is over you are laid off. Permanent positions with benefits will allow a person to work to live not live to work. Permanent positions with benefits are what smart people look for, because you live a whole life you aren't just young. Permanent positions with benefits give you advantages later on in life. A company that offers benefits more than likely wants to keep employees. In fact the company he works for treats all their employees like gold. If you are a programmer you might know what I am talking of, but if a company isn't willing to spend money to offer you benefits, they don't care about you, you are expendable. He loves his job and the people he works for, the other jobs he's had that were high paying but no benefits he was easily expendable, just like many of the others. Most American's think everything is about money. Well it isn't. There are other things to living than money, many other things, adequate or excellent access to health care can help you live longer and better. What is more important that that?

My analysis

As weak as it might be, here goes. The President and the Dems have allowed the Republicans to back themselves into a corner. Grassley said he won't vote for a bill he likes just because other Rep's won't vote for it, Kyl spouts off saying, oh no, no Republicans will never vote for the bill no matter what they are allowed to contribute.

Chris Matthews just suggested the Clintons are going to be dispersed across the country to help corral Dems. They are going to go for broke. I just attended another meeting, this one supplements the moveon meetings, but this was the Dean organization, Democracy for America, and they are also going for broke, raising money, making commercials, heading out to smack the Republicans right where they live.

Republicans will be allowed to filibuster in the Senate to making them look even worse. They will filibuster and the Dems and organizations will hit back again and any Dem that doesn't get in line will have Democratic challengers during their primaries.

Yes I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Barney Franks newest American Idol

Barney Frank rocks, seriously. I see the trolls are out in force here today and last evening Joan. They never stop.

Here is to you Barney Frank! I raise my shot of Jamieson to you Barney Frank. Take them on! Republican Thugs hate it when others fight back. Bullies never know what to do when the people they've been holding hostage for years with their bullying fight back. Here is hoping more of this type of thing happens at the town halls.

Off to another Democracy for America Meeting today, remember folks write your congress people. I did just receive a response from Norm Dicks over this exact issue. Today there is a massive conference call with the President and his arm of activists, Organizing for America. Also give money if you can to DFA, the Dean group, we are raising money to hit back at the liars. I believe we hit our goal, but if you have extra to spare, let's teach these morons like we taught them in the last election. Hey trolls you are the minority, get used to it!

Make them filibuster

Do it make them filibuster, only 51 votes are needed for a bill to pass through the senate. Make them hold good on their threat, make them bring in the mattresses and filibuster, don't allow them to leave the room, they will have to keep talking, make them filibuster. THAT IS THE RULE, otherwise all we need are 51 votes and we have 51 solid votes. Tell the GOP to SUCK IT.

Oh Yes virt has been stalking Joan for quite sometime. He is a weird freakish stalker, he hurls insults, makes accusations, he is crazy, he never fails to personally attack her. I am sure it is because he has a very tiny, tiny, well you know what I mean.
