Like myself my son is and IT worker, a permanent job with benefits is inevitably more important as many IT/Programming jobs don't come with benefits and when the project is over you are laid off. Permanent positions with benefits will allow a person to work to live not live to work. Permanent positions with benefits are what smart people look for, because you live a whole life you aren't just young. Permanent positions with benefits give you advantages later on in life. A company that offers benefits more than likely wants to keep employees. In fact the company he works for treats all their employees like gold. If you are a programmer you might know what I am talking of, but if a company isn't willing to spend money to offer you benefits, they don't care about you, you are expendable. He loves his job and the people he works for, the other jobs he's had that were high paying but no benefits he was easily expendable, just like many of the others. Most American's think everything is about money. Well it isn't. There are other things to living than money, many other things, adequate or excellent access to health care can help you live longer and better. What is more important that that?
