Really, southern values, well as someone from the Northwest we don't have a ton of respect for folks that think the civil war isn't over, we are tired of the judgmental attitudes of our southern brothers and sisters who seem to believe they have the corner on values and preach endlessly while screwing their neighbors wives, or being caught with a hooker, or a young boy. Southerners' love to preach to us don't they, yet they have the highest divorce rates compared to say Massachusetts or even here in Washington. Why don't you quit being afraid of gay people getting married and stay out of other peoples bodies, and get your own shit together because it doesn't seem together to the rest of us. And of course your larger share of our tax dollars, say for every one dollar you all put in your states get at least 1.50 back or more because of the high rates of poverty, lack of health care coverage for your general population, compared to the 55 cents we get back from our tax dollars. Yep we are sick to death of you all preaching to us. Get over yourselves, you aren't that good and you aren't that moral, you are just like the rest of us, human, prone to mistakes and misjudgments, you know no better than the rest of us no matter what you seem to think.

You know Brooks is just picking up on McCains attack, nothing more than that. Most American's aren't having a problem with Sen. Obama. He is beating McCain in all important demographics, including the working class white folks. The biggest problem is the media's obsession with how to classify the senator, you know they are the only folks who obsess over European crowds adoring him, because we have crowds here adoring him, remember Portland Oregon, 75,000 people came to that rally. The real problem for the media is this primary didn't turn out the way they wanted it, they wanted it to be a fight over Bill Clinton's presidency, to validate it or invalidate it, and in the beginning of the primary they told everyone to hang it up because Sen. Clinton had this thing in the bag. Well this didn't turn out the way they predicted, and they had their attacks ready for the Clinton's as well, so now we have to figure out where this guy fits in the scheme of the media attack, and he doesn't fit that well so they are coming up with lame-assed analysis of what is going on here, but in November they will find out again, how wrong they are, yet again. How do we know this, because they've been wrong since the process began.

Actually KathyD, Hillary Clinton is "behaving perfectly appropriately" because she isn't the one leading the band of bitters. I mean Hillary is campaigning for Barack, she is a good democrat I believe and wants the democrats to win this thing. And deep down, I think she would be an excellent VP. The folks who are not behaving appropriately are the bitters, but who cares anyway. People shouldn't be laying this off on her, but her so-called-supporters who don't seem to be democrats they just seem to be well you know, bitter.

You tell us everyday how inadequate Obama is, and Hillary is the One. Go cry with the PUMA's, since you are willing to throw away everything democrats have worked for including a woman's right to choose, just cause your candidate didn't win. You write long missives to attempt to prove Obama isn't qualified, and you offer no concrete evidence, sort of like Republicans, and how hurt you are. Get over yourself. Well of course, it is a complete blackout in your own motorcade, no satellite TV, no blackberries, nothing.
