Just Proves Republicans are Idiots

Republicans haven't learned one thing Joan, not one thing from the past two elections. They are also the most hypocritical folks on the face of this earth, but it will in the end seal their fate with America, they could be becoming the Old Whig Party, remember them, no, no one remembers them except for a few history buffs and American History Majors!

So last year when Bush was still King, the Republicans said yes to an 800 billion dollar bail out of the finance an banking industries, but their bill of course had no oversight. What a typical republican bill, no oversight and free money to Rich folks. Those Rich folks did just what they wanted to do with their money, so they redecorated their offices and paid themselves huge bonuses. Then as if to put a finger in the face of every other person in this nation those folks at these banks plotted against unions and at the same time said they would not divulge how they used the bail out money because they didn't have to it wasn't required. Republicans rolled over and voted for it. But now when it comes to bailing out America, repairing roads, high speed rail, repairing our electrical grid, just pumping money into infrastructure and state governments with oversight of course the Republicans say, nope, nope, nope.

My mom and dad who live part time in Montana and part time in Manila, Philippines told me yesterday right after the bailout passed they received an email telling them their congressman Danny Rehberg voted against the people of Montana, against the middle class, etc!

And now Judd Gregg, who it seems deliberately set up Pres. Obama. Pundits yesterday were going nuts, this is going to hurt the President, he's had such trouble with cabinet positions (????), blah blah blah, but who asks the real question here, did Judd Gregg and the Republicans set up Pres. Obama? Judd Gregg came off as a tool, a weak kneed, lily livered chicken, who couldn't break out of his Republicanism and do something for his country. What a tool. But am I surprised, no, no I am not.

Things that make you go hmmmm

It was amusing not because it it outwardly funny but that it was a plausible scene. At the end we all looked at each other and laughed hard! Yes because everyone is making fun of Republicans, because they make it so damn easy.

What is weird is:

The amount of time during this on-line discussion is spent on the comeliness of certain women, even though this video isn't about Tina Fey or the amazing looks of other women out there whether they are Republicans or Democrats... what the hell? Tina Fey used to be the head writer for SNL, her talent has nothing to do with what she looks like, however Seth Meyers is now the head writer of Saturday night live. The clip was about the dysfunction of Republicans. Certain conservatives here have turned this into a discussion of the attractiveness or ugliness of a talented woman who isn't even related to this clip! I am dumbfounded, seriously. Although not entirely surprised, seems they don't see the nuance contained within that clip. Seems they can't see the irony of that clip at all because they themselves are enmeshed within the deep ideological constraints that tell them they are right, everyone else is wrong, their ideas are great, why can't everyone see it, there is nothing to change we are doing just fine, they've become entrenched in ideological issues, issues that aren't pertinent to the reality of today, to the topic at hand, which for Boner and those guys is the economy they wrecked and for this board SNL's commentary on that dysfunction. Conservatives on this board who have turned this into a discussion on Tina Fey's hotness or lack of rather than discussing the clip exemplifies that clip more than they will ever realize.

Outrageous

I have a couple of suggestions for you. First quit doing his laundry, tell him since he wants everything hang dried etc, it is his responsibility to do his own laundry, he can do it however he likes. When doing your own laundry tell him this, look Bozo get as mad as you want, but you are not the dictator here, you can't tell me how to do my own laundry, this is not 1856, I have modern equipment for a reason. If you don't like it don't watch, however, you actually can't order me around like I am your slave. Cause LW it sounds as if your husband thinks he owns you.

@hobgoblin

Really, folks here aren't anti-environmental, but he can do his own damn laundry if he has specifications. Give me a break this isn't about environmentalism as it is about him being a dictator and he doesn't even have a damn job! Give me a break. He doesn't get to tell her what to do and he doesn't get to have a cow because she isn't doing things his way. That in itself will spell the end of that marriage eventually.

I've been a graduate student myself and while I was writing my thesis I managed to help raise my family, my husband worked, we did the chores together, took care of the kids together, it isn't an excuse to get a free pass at life, or run roughshod over your wife. Like I said he can do his own damn laundry and he can't dictate to her how she does her laundry. That is ridiculous.

This question has probably been asked but

where was this Santelli dude when the bankers were running wild with our money, giving themselves huge bonuses, redecorating their offices, etc. Santelli is a dufus.
