@luckycat

It is actually inappropriate for the campaign to spend money on clothing for a candidate. Sarah Palin will owe taxes on that 150,000 worth of clothing. It is a violation of the rules. It is referred to as a conversion of campaign dollars for personal use, if that happens and it did happen she much pay taxes on that sum. She has added $150,000.00 to her personal income this year in clothing! I hope the campaign told her she would have to pay taxes on that gift!!!

@rantianderson

It doesn't matter because the Obama's clothing isn't listed as an expense on the FEC report. Meaning they pay for their own clothing as it isn't entirely legal to pay for clothing with campaign funds according to the rules.

Same outfits at a cheaper cost

I mean, come on, $150,000.00!! That is a ton of money for two months. I also have to say if I knew that makeup artists could earn so much I would not have wasted all that money I spent on my college education, undergrad and grad! I sure don't make what she makes in two weeks! Wow, I am simply amazed.

I do think Sarah Palin could have looked quite nice on say 15,000.00, But $150,000? I can even comprehend what you would have to buy to spend that much money on clothing. It is pretty unbelievable and very excessive.

Your daughter is a rare girl. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to give up a child.

@readerreader

You accused Bill Clinton of Rape. I want to know where you get off. Bill Clinton has never been convicted of raping anyone. I am not one to defend Pres. Clinton's personal life because he was obviously a crappy husband. But just because someone says something doesn't make it true. It is a very inflammatory thing to say and also false. I say false because he has not been convicted of Rape in any court of law, therefore your statement is false on its face.

NewYorkNY is correct, Palin is the one who condemns science. If she is such an energy expert why do we never hear her speak of focus fusion? That is cutting edge energy research, readerreader, why is it never mentioned? What type of energy expert does not mention focus fusion?

Energy Expert???

If she truly were an energy expert, she would know a little bit about science. I mean John McCain said no one in this country knows more about energy than Sarah Palin. So I am going to ask again, why doesn't Sarah Palin ever speak about focus fusion?
