Schmidt and McCain

They have fundamentally misjudged the changes in America. They misjudged the economic slide caused by George Bush's policies, supported by McCain. McCain's lack of knowledge on economic issues. McCain's misjudging of the electorate as maybe not a racist as his advisers think they are, using the Clinton tactics didn't work for Clinton (he doesn't have the experience) why will it work for McCain. Their lack of a cohesive campaign that tells American where John McCain stands, not that he simply opposes Obama because he claims Obama's character isn't good enough. (the evidence of course points to McCain's character and those who follow him are not good enough to be American's actually, the terrorist statement and the kill him statements, the sit down boy statement to a camera man), American's are seeing John McCain as he truly is and the Republican Party as they truly are thugs. Plain and simple bullies and thugs. It isn't pretty, but I am glad people are finally noticing. I myself am tired of being called a traitor to my country because I am a democrat. I am tired of those same folks calling my husband a traitor, he served this nation for 12 year in the Army, E-6, NCOIC, simply because he is a democrat. I am tired of the us vs them mentality of these folks. Tired of the threatening behavior of these folks. Tired of being yelled at for my Obama stickers, tired of having to argue day after day that I am as much a patriot as anyone in this nation! Tired, plain tired of the entire thing. We seem to be back to the 50's, the red scare, black listing people. Tired, tired, tired. I for one would like to get back to some civility. I know we will not get back their with McCain as the president, I know we might reach there with the Obama/Biden ticket.

Canvass this weekend folks, we need to get people out to vote on election day.

Stupid Republicans

I am so tired of R's demonizing everyone, and as usual they get their facts wrong....

Here in Washington, you can vote if you were a convicted felon, first you must serve your time, second you must pay all your fines, and third there is a 7 year waiting period, so the state/counties know you can keep your nose clean.

I don't know about every state, but come on R's is that all you have?

On a lighter note, here in Kitsap County we have 10,500 new voters! Thanks to Democrats.

Backfiring yes

But I am scared for Senator Obama, there are some crazy folks out there. Sen. McCain and his Trophy VP have been stoking some flames for the past week. He can't rein his supporters in, they now truly believe Sen. Obama is a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer. I really don't know where this ends. But if something happens to Sen. Obama, Senator McCain will be blamed in entirety. I think it is too late to dial these folks back. They can see the country changing and that is the one thing they cannot handle. Change.

Original article: Troopergate report released

Copy of the Report

I am reading it now, it is available at the adn website... 263 pages long, so that can't be good for Sarah Palin.

The Look on John McCain's Face Tonight

I honestly felt bad for McCain tonight, I felt like he suddenly knew this was out of his control. It felt like McCain was truly sorry for the horrible campaign he'd been running. He's been playing to the baser side of the fringe right winger, the nut. I really felt sad, there was a glimmer of the old John McCain, the guy we used to see, even if it was a farce, but the guy that appeared to stick up for everyone. His campaign has been nothing short of a complete disappointment. He hired Bush's boys and played the game their way and here they are destroying him one more time. It is South Carolina all over again. In his face everything was apparent, they had misread the public terribly, he knew it too. This election the nation isn't prepared to play games, our economy is spiraling downward, quickly, the wars continue and all McCain's campaign offers is another scare tactic, another gimmick. Sen. McCain sold his soul. The look on his face, he was suddenly Gollum, lost without his master, knowing there was something wrong, but his longing for the ring was just to powerful to overcome so he was willing to do what ever it takes. Suddenly tonight he realized it too, he felt it, I saw it on his face. He realized he sold his soul and it is destroying him. The proof was the look on his face. He knew what they'd done was wrong. He'd allowed his campaign to step over the line. Just like Gollum the power of the Ring was too much. The look on his face tonight said it all. And as he slunk of the stage all you could hear, was Precious, my precious.
