@BeverlyJRaffaele

BS Bev,

She made a choice, did you read that SHE MADE A CHOICE. Get it! A FUCKING CHOICE. Get over your self. No one actually cares, keep the baby, don't keep the baby. That is her CHOICE. Women support whatever CHOICE she makes. The problem is you don't get to make the CHOICE for others.

@Gracie Lewis

Hey Gracie,

That is what you lunatics said about George Bush. Your judgment isn't that good.

Seattle - Washington,

No one needs to look that up.

Bakke,

Shit she could have mentioned something, Marbury v Madison.

She says Yes I believe in a right to privacy, but I guess just not for women's bodies. She is an absolute Moron, and they've prepared her for nothing.

VP

She doesn't even know that the VP has two jobs:

1.) Break ties in the senate

2.) Wait for the President to die or become incapacitated.

There are no other duties Sarah

The VP is a part of the Executive Branch, Dick Cheney has been lying to you again, but just in case, why don't you read the document, it is short and quite easy to understand.

@evelarry

You've demonstrated you know nothing of our great document, the Constitution. Please give it a read. It is simple, easily read, but the VP has no legislative responsibility or power. He/she can merely break a tie in the Senate. Nothing more. That and they wait for the President to die.

However, you have demonstrated you know nothing about our constitution, our governing document. That doesn't surprise me, most people on the street don't know what it says either.

And since you may be a republican, it surprises me even less.

To Mike Murphy

This is who McCain truly is. The real question for you (Murphy) is why haven't you noticed?

Monday, October 6, 2008 12:01 PM

@Sub11

John and Joe McCain say you folks in N VA are communists. I am glad you are voting now, to teach those two a lesson in real democracy.

Yes siree bob!

I hope this help McCain lose his cool tomorrow night....

@matttroke

How is the truth a smear?

Monday, October 6, 2008 02:59 PM

@matttroke

How can the truth be unfair Matt. Let's listen to Harry Truman on this point:

I never did give anybody hell. I just told the truth and they thought it was hell.

So Sen. Obama and his campaign are not giving anybody hell, they are telling the truth and the McCain campaign thinks it is hell.

But lets take Plato on truth: When the mind's eye rests on objects illuminated by truth and reality, it understands and comprehends them, and functions intelligently; but when it turns to the twilight world of change and decay, it can only form opinions, its vision is confused and its beliefs shifting, and it seems to lack intelligence. (Plato, Republic)

Truth therefore is not a smear Matt, it is simply the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts, but it is neither a smear nor does it paint Senator Obama in a bad light. McCain's entire campaign is based on innuendo and opinion and there is definitely a lack of intelligence within his so called strategies.

@mattroke

And for you to say that the S&L scandal has nothing to do with McCain today... hmm really, S&L

The thrifts were limited by Depression-era interest rate ceilings on deposits and couldn't compete with banks and money-market funds. Justifiably, Congress lifted the ceilings in 1980. But the thrifts' income still hinged on mortgages made at lower rates, so losses soared. In 1982 they prevailed on Congress to let them diversify their investments. Thanks to well-funded industry pressure on individual lawmakers, the new law also relaxed accounting rules and failed to strengthen supervision. The result was wild speculation and outright plundering. (from a NY Times article November 1989)

How Matt is this not relevant? That new law Matt was deregulation of the Savings and Loan banks, how is that not relevant to today's crisis, except possibly that this one is bigger and worse effects on our economy.

As Low as Possible

Then there is the Palin rally where an attendee yells out "kill him". It seems they are inciting their supporter to violence. So they (McCain/Palin) will go as low as it takes to get elected. I guess that means inciting your followers to violence. If this happened at an Obama rally, the press would be talking about it all night long and all next week and all month until the election.
