Original article: George Bush's scary story

@cdevlin

It isn't that we don't believe this is scary, it just that we are already living the bad life. Groceries more than double the cost of last year, gas, double, college tuition for our children sky rocketing, health care benefits being slowly stripped away, retirement accounts halved, the consequences have been felt by the regular public for some time now. Just not the fat cats, they never seem to have to feel the problems they cause.

There certainly is an emergency, but these folks have known about it for awhile and to top this off the administration has had this so-called plan ready for more than 7 months! Hmmm... really. Jon Tester was correct when he asked Paulsen and Bernnake why only one week to craft legislation? Will the depression begin Friday night?

You know you cry wolf enough and people quit believing you.

You have to admit this administration has cried wolf an awful lot.

And the bottom line is NO OVERSIGHT NO DEAL. No Big guys being arrested and araigned no deal. There must be penalties.

Since I am going to own parts of these companies I want to be a legitimate share holder, I mean some of the money being used to bail out these guys is mine. I want to vote at the next stock holder meeting and so do most Americans. You want our money, we get to forcibly through you out of your job, and you can go on unemployment like the rest of us! No golden parachute. In fact maybe the fed ought to outright nationalize these companies and put good federal employees in charge. That way we will not get screwed as much!

Maverick

This is her newly memorized word and she uses it for everything in stead of answering any questions. This is the real reason Walnuts want to postpone the debates, especially the VP debate.

I saw the interview last night and it was appalling how little this woman knows about anything.

Original article: Will McCain debate?

Chickenshit John McCain

John McCain is nothing more than a chickenshit. Wow some tough guy, can't debate now, the country is in crisis. He actually disgusts me.

If he can't even debate there is no way he can be president.

He has shown himself to be an egocentric son of a bitch, he thinks this entire episode is about him. This is getting to be ridiculous. He ought to just get out of the campaign altogether.

Oh I am sure his explanation will include, I am a POW I am a POW.

The guy is a complete joke.

Republicans should be ashamed of themselves.

@Independence 2008

Well lets just say he doesn't use the Russia is close to Alaska excuse and so is Canada. If you watched the interview at all she said when Putin Rears his head where is he going, Alaska. She sounded just like a moron. Palin was a gimmick just like McCain's gimmick to suspend his campaign, he didn't suspend anything. Just like he says he's running off to save the day in Washington, but he isn't he is trying to play this entire thing for a photo op.

Go ahead and vote for the moron.

Unbelievable

In that there are people who continue to support John McCain and cover for Sarah Palin. Readerreader claims that Obama's performance was worst tonight on the network news and that Letterman shouldn't be able to comment on John McCain at all, no talking about politics that might be an FCC violation. Dependence_1590 defends Palin she didn't do that badly.

We are living in different worlds aren't we, I like reality, you two like the other trolls have some other agenda. Your first agenda seemingly is not allowing people to speak, David Letterman isn't a non-profit organization, he can say whatever he damn well pleases on his show or off his show. It didn't say one of the 7 dirty words or make us view his nipples, he commented on John McCain's lying, which is what McCain did to him, he lied to him. That readerreader is called freedom of speech. Wasn't it Harry Truman who said "I never did give anybody hell. I just told the truth and they thought it was hell."

Original article: "As Putin rears his head"

@rupert_c

Then explain the justification for attacking Iraq. Iraq didn't attack the United States, Osama bin Laden did and last I heard bin Laden is a Saudi National, just hiding in Afghanistan/Pakistan.
