Anonymust-

I don't know, my husband and I believe the same thing, we are both pro-choice, my sons are pro-choice, they are feminists in the truest sense, why would I cut them out of my politics and say, you're just not welcome in this party, please. That is short sighted and anathema to the actual movement towards equality, even having complete ownership of our own bodies. At the inception of the abolition movement, it was intertwined with those antebellum suffragettes, these movements always included men too. I am not going to shrink my party over hurt feelings, when I know that overtime we will win this one, no matter how many setbacks there might be. Rethink your position, it is ramped up and hot out there isn't it, just what the republicans are trying to do, they want to derail health reform. You are falling for it, don't divide us more, try to explode our party by quitting and doing what republicans want you to do, they want you to participate in killing reform. Can't you see that you are falling for their campaign.

I am here to defend the Democrats

Look I escorted women into planned parenthood clinics in the 1980's. But I am not willing to give up the opportunity to change health care for the majority of Americans. If this is really about abortion, then send money to clinics who provide abortions for low income women. New York state has a particularly great program, the New York Abortions Access Fund.

To say the Democratic Party isn't for women is to relegate women to no party, and that takes away our power if we are to have any power what-so-ever. Presently women do not make up more than 50% of congress although white men do make up more than 50% of congress. If we want to make change, we must challenge them from the inside. At least the democratic party supports the issues of the day, and as a party platform it is pro-choice, but leaving the party is to leave the system and to allow those folks to be in charge and possibly twist issues even more. No, we must stand up within the party, and fight for ourselves. One way to do that is to run more women for political positions, not to run away and hide and be on the fringe of politics! We did that during ERA, remember, it didn't help us then, what makes you think it will help us now?

Bart Stupak is a dick, okay we know that, get a woman to challenge him in his primary, support Emily's List, but don't bow out, we will lose everything if we do.

Whack or wacko.. actually both are quite right but they mean different things. You are lying when you say whack job is in the dictionary, although it is in the urban dictionary, it of course is not in the merriam-webster dictionary.

Nice try. Generally, wackjob is associated with wacko, which is spelled without an "h". To Whack a verb something else entirely, it means to hit, smack, or hurt someone with a whack.

So although the Urban dictionary uses the term "whack job" to mean the same as wacko, just in a more modern way, which means spelling and true meaning is disregarded.

I don't expect folks like you to be able to discern the difference though. Stupid is always stupid, that is why you won the poll.

It is funny to me

That these southern style republicans are trying to exile real Yankee republicans. Stupid fucks, Yankees used to be the Republican party, they fought for civil rights, the rights of women, for the environment etc and so on. Yankees are why the republican party existed, and now the Yankees are being excommunicated from the party. Good. Yankees are welcome to the oldest party, Jefferson's party. Idiots masquerading as republicans are destroying what used to be a perfectly good political party. Too bad.

No lunkheads I am not writing about baseball, okay.

Yikes Just catching up

MAV Well not doubt there are many other trolls in close competition with Mr. Soetoro. But it was a difficult choice, LL and Glock, lmnpor, hell, so many trolls so little room for them. So your right in that there could be other winners, it's probably true they've all tied as far as offensiveness, batshit crazy, and all that.

We've taken a facebook poll of the dumbest troll on Salon. Although it was a tight competition for a while and many trolls are close behind in the competition, you, by far are considered by consensus, the dumbest troll lurking in Salon's comment sections. Thanks for showing up and reiterating that point one more time.

I am happy to say

I hope they continue on in the efforts to cleanse or rather purge their party of any kind of semi-moderate or moderate thinker. That is okay by me. Did you hear, some of the more extreme folks in their party have started their own Teabagging Party, and to think, that certainly used to mean something entirely different!

Onward Christian Soldiers, marching onto a war of their own making. Onward, forward, don't give in, don't adapt, and continue to shrink to the old white guy party. I love that, it makes this democrat really happy. I know my party is going to be around, it has been since the inception of this country. But where are the federalists? Where are the whigs? The know-nothings? I guess we know where they are, they are where the republicans are headed, and that is great news if you ask me.
