Quaint Question for a Pluralist Culture

A more tantalizing questions for the literary minded- Where can I get a copy of C. M. Barons' new book? In the Midst of, retro intrigue- offbeat 1970's rewind. Cunning allusions, stand-out characters, absorbing tension- "the makings of a cult classic." Brian can't escape his past, namely, Hollis; badboy with more secrets than Karl Rove. Hollis is the aim, sure as the bull's eye on any Zen-archer's target. www.inthemidstof.info

Original article: John McCain, Internet dunce

Left-field, Out of touch, Clueless

At best- McCain is out of touch; a more cynical description probably has improved accuracy. McCain's answer to the energy pinch is most telling: nuclear power! Can there be a less useful and uninformed response? The Nuclear Regulatory Agency doesn't even have an approved set of plans. There is no pending plan; no institution will fund these dinosaurs. The technology for producing fuel is no cleaner than it was in the 60s. 30% of new construction has been halted because of gargantuan cost overruns. We need a leader- not some mastodon stuck in the tarpits!

Ever read Harrison Bergeron?

We shop at Walmart. We hate windmills and love oil derricks. Our kids go to schools where only the teachers' grades matter. We elect B movie actors to high office. Our god is ethnically cleansed. ...and your point is?

Cloud Man

Just when political discussion appeared to have leapt from the realm of nonsense, we shift to distraction. You-know talking about these dopes only encourages more to step forward.
