A blessing is a Bracha, ... not a hard k in any dialect. To bless is Baruch, not Barak. That's a chof sofit, not a kof.
Barak means lighting

After two decades in IT and a master's in information systems, I developed a social networking system for a startup at a well-known university's business incubator. I was responsible for hiring and firing and led a team of interns.
Then my male partners went out seeking financing. Without ever meeting me, investors signed on. But there was a condition: I had to be replaced by their all-male team.
The first meeting was a hoot - unable to shout me down, the "country squire" to whom I was introduced simply sulked. But he knew he would prevail in the end.
So, without any legal recourse, I must accept that I now own equity in a company that won't hire qualified females. But that's the way it is.
And it's not us. Men are justifiably insecure - I can run rings around their limitations. Knowing that, I can continue to function - so please don't become part of the problem by pretending that the victims are to blame.
All he has to do is show us at our best. And he can wait ... we'll be suckers every time and show no shame.
I won't be sorry either. Driven from my own party, I'll accept the Democratic mess in Congress, but this is my generation's last chance to respect our institutions.
Contempt for authority is the prerogative of the young, but that doesn't mean they're right. Let McCain find himself; he's not the accidental candidate. The GOP had to be sufficiently humbled to accept his authority.
I can do the same and not worry about my party for the next four years - we'll be spared the hardest choices and irresistible temptations of executive privilege. If we couldn't put a sensible woman in the office, let it be a man who's learned his limits.
It's something for me to cheer ... to relive the exciting potential with others. Sorry you can't empathize, but that's normal too.
