I have no idea why any mature woman would find it useful or flattering to escort around an immature boy and flaunt him as some kind of catch. I suppose it's because old coots with lots of money do the same thing. It's vanity, pure and simple.

I've got more decades behind me now than I've got in front of me. With that comes experience, if not wisdom. So true. And true also is "ratherbridin"'s observation that older women can be attractive to men of any age. It's what you project from inside that get's the libido going.

It's too bad it doesn't work the other way, that young women are attracted to sex with older men. But that's just how it is. They are attracted to older men with power and money, but the same guy with no resources is just another loser trying to hit on them. Some time around age 30 a man faces a moment in time when he crosses over into invisibility. He's out of the game. Smart men, wise men, know when to retreat from the field and be graceful about it. But as you can see from all the bad comb-overs, body-waxers, capped-tooth lotharios who haunt the bars until closing time, wisdom does not come with age to all men.

Nor, apparently, with all women. Because the bars are full of prospects for these guys or they wouldn't bother. Vain and desperate, boob jobs, liposuctioned thighs and botox lips, the Demi Moore and Dolly Parton impersonators vie and compete for the better of the Kenny Rogers and Burt Reynolds impersonators. So enjoy what you got and be grateful for what you had because it's all just a harmless fucking game and we're all headed for big dirt nap in the end so it doesn't matter.

Why? Because they still don't have any balls, and no answers.

Do you realize that "The Great Writ" of Habius Corpus is gone? Do you realize that the President of the United States is now able to convene a military tribunal that can meet in secret and send any American citizen to a secret detention facility where they could be waterboarded, held forever in limbo with no recourse?

This has just happened.

I would have thought that the Democratic Party and its front running candidates for office would have been furiously demanding that this is not going to stand! No other issue you can name was as important as this one was. Yet, it passed like a fart in a windstorm and no one said a word.

In fact, I would have thought that if there is really any sense of true patriotism and love of freedom in the hearts of those people who claim they are conservatives, they too would be ready to stop traffic in the streets and say, this is not going to stand!

But no. The media is not playing it, therefore it doesn't exist. We just lost the keystone freedom of our republic and nobody gives a shit.

So I'm coming to the point where I don't give a shit either. It's over.
