Thou doth protest too much, One Guy. I've had enough of you crackers who defend the indefensable with weak cries that there are racists in the midwest too. That don't cut it.
Virginia was and is the very heart of the separatist rebellion against the United States of America. Their flag, the Stars and Bars is the very symbol of treason against the United States of America and nothing less than that. If you fly it, you are supporting the white racist night-riding, sheet-wearing lynch mobs of the Reconstruction that still have unrepentant murderous hatred coursing through their veins. The Klan still thrives down there. You can't deny that.
Racism is preached from the pulpits of Christian churches. Racism is practiced in the court rooms. Racism is practiced in the schools. Everywhere you look in Virginia, racism is practiced in a thousand little ways, with a wink and a smirk.
And nobody lately has done more winking and smirking than that half-witted stooge George Allen. It's about damned time that the rest of America has finally gotten a good look at this guy who has been able to cruise just under the national radar for far too long.
And it's about damned time that America started taking a good look at what goes on behind closed doors in Virginia where the rebels and the rednecks are still within arm's reach of their burning crosses and white Klan robes.
I apologize to no one. I lived among those cretins and I'm not going to be quiet about what I saw and heard while growing up.
Only a cracker with the brain the size of a walnut would veer off into a discussion of mailbox sizes and deer heads.
I can see him now: His boots propped up on the cracker barrel at Billy Bob's Kuntry Store, a wad of chaw in his cheek, listening to Rush Limbaugh, feeling so clever he's about to pee himself, thinking up irrelevant crap in order to obfuscate the issues swirling around his hero George "Macaca" Allen like flies on shit.
You'll have to do better than that, Jim Bob. That thar dog won't hunt.
How is stuffing a deer head in a mailbox materially different from having sat in the dust, high, topless and filthy in San Fran when you were younger.
Because stuffing a severed head of any kind in someone's mailbox is pretty much a clear message in any culture, in any country that you mean someone bodily harm. It's an act of intimidation meant to arouse fear perpetrated by a coward.
Do you get it now?
And for "No Name Given" if you had ever been the target of race hatred, you wouldn't be so smarmy.
Speaking of cowards, have you noticed that most of the right wing trolls who come to Salon are "No Name" and "Anonymous?"
I was wondering how long it would take for Macaca Allen's dispicable entourage to find one of their dittoheads who would be willing to step forward and lie in public.
But so lame? So transparent? Please!
"Uh, I thought I had it on tape but I guess I don't."
Regardless, I expect that Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and the other flaming freepers will scream with righteous indignation and fill the airwaves with "Gotcha" tonight.
Such desperation. Such a long way to go for such a dubious payoff:
"Allen's a racist? So what, so's Webb."
OK, there are two racists running for the Senate in Virginia. Jeff Davis must be smiling up from hell.
Very much overlooked in this discussion of why Lamont is falling behind is the fact that the networks and cable news will not show Ned Lamont's face at all, unless it's a paid ad.
Meanwhile, Liebermann is welcome on every news and pundit show you can name. Larry King, Joe Scarborough, Wolf Blitzer's Situation Room, and of course Fox 'news' has him on so often you would assume he's been given his own dressing room.
I've written to CNN a couple of times recently after Holy Joe gets another five minute freebee to ask "where's Ned?" Of course, there's no response. Fox I can understand, but MSNBC and CNN? No excuse.
Rep. John Shimkus (R) first got wind of this in late 2005. He has made some typical lame-ass statement that Foley's emails to a Louisiana boy page were not all that bad and that he had no idea there were subsequent emails of a graphic and illegal nature.
Dennis Hastert (R) had no idea either, until ABC broke the story.
Sorry but this just doesn't wash. Fortunately, computer emails are date-time stamped. It won't be long before investigators start matching up the dates and times with meetings Shimkus had with Foley over the many months between late 2005 and the day this story broke on Friday.
This appears to be a major cover-up by Hastert and Shimkus, or at least a case of gross negligence on their part.
It's time for a full investigation.
"You know what Tim
you represent everything that is wrong with politics and the media.
You pick up and promote any piece of salacious gossip just so you can stick it to the republicans. You should be working for the Enquirer.
Actually, you should be working with Ann Coulter because this is just her style.
Good job.
-- joe"
You're belated mea culpa not withstanding, joe, with all the half-truth, repeated lies, and constant "sticking it" to the Democrats, you are hardly in a position to accuse someone else of being like Ann Coulter or working for the Enquirer.
I relish your mistake with almost as much glee as that of Foley's demise. Simply delightful! Have another bite, joe.
Ahgg! I got so excited musing over joe's hypocricy that I got my "you're" and "your" mixed up again.
