Nedra Pickering: Time to have your credentials pulled....

Once again, the MSM is determined to reduce critical debate on major issues to a fashion and personality race (with the occasional titty fetish thrown in just to keep it interesting).

As for the anger issue... These candidates do not come close to the anger, contempt and quite frankly, violence that I feel towards the war criminals, profiteers and other rip-off artists that are running our governement.

I think the Democratic candidates are the picture of decorum in light of the unbelievable direction and position the Bushists and their supporters have brought our country to.

I hear George W. Bush tell the Chinese they are "foolhardy" to threaten retailation against the dollar for our (the Bushists) threats agains the Yuan.... and I want to throw that alcoholic felon into a sack and beat him with a baseball bat for selling the Chinese so much of our treasure that they have enormous leverage over our economy.

Oh...and why did we sell the Chinese nearly a TRILLION dollars in bond and t-bills? To fund an illegal war that we couldn't afford to pay for because president shit-for-brains cut taxes for the very wealthiest.

Angry? I would take Dick Cheney and stick his head into a microwave at 7-11 and hold him there until the blood in his brain fried, or his pacemaker exploded in his chest for beating the drum against every aspect of civil right and democratic process guaranteed to us by the constitution.

There wouldn't be the slightest hesitation to take Alberto Gonzales and throw him into a Supermax prison with a sign pinned to his ass that says "I'm The Man... what do you want to do about it?"

My laundry list of issues, crimes and positions that the Bushists have committed is long, long, long. We are in deep shit because of these dangerous fools.

No, there are few from this administration that would escape my wrath. What passes for candidates in this election cycle is some very watered down version of anger at best. It is, perhaps, intense distaste...but it's not anger. There are no charges of war crimes or crimes against the peace being leveled. No one has suggeted that the Bushists be charged with sedition and other crimes against the state for breaking domestic laws and flouting, if not attempting to dismantle the Constitution of the United States.

The candidates are the picture of civility compared to the administration they will replace. And they are far too civil in their debate of issues like the war and where the Bushists have brought us. Really, what I would like to see is a bit more anger. I would like to see a wave of discontent, unbridled against the anarchists who have been running the show for so many years.

Where to put that $35 dollar ticket....

Freakazoid or Numbnuts? Hard to pick between them. I mean... as long as the Republican's embrace their non reality based version of the world... I guess I personally want the least electable of them the prevail. The Republican candidate that most represents and defends the Republican record, position and platform should win, and that will help the Democrats.... Of course, then the Democrats need to start to get into the reality based think set themselves... but they are at least a little closer to that end....

A few points of reality:

The war in Iraq was illegal. It was started over a pack of lies, and continues through more lies that are ever changing in order to keep up with the crumbling circumstance that the previous lies were based on.

America is in deeeep shit. George W. Bush cut taxes for the richest one half of one percent... and then started a war he couldn't afford. So... he borrowed money.... LOTS of money... and artificially kept interest rates low so that he could continue to borrow LOTS of money. Well... the mortgage is being called... and we don't have the money. The 38 billion that the Fed dropped into the banking system is but a drop in the bucket....

We are hated around the world. As mentioned in another column in Salon, some airlines that are based in other countries are avoiding stops in the U.S. in their round the world tickets.... as it is such a pain in the ass to come here.

The war, the threat of terrorism has been used to take away rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. The fact that George Bush, Dick Cheney, Al Gonzales are not currently facing impeachment is a testament to how poorly our government and it's system of checks and balances is working. Think about it next time you have to remove your shoes just to board a plane.

Our life expectantcy is slipping towards third world. We spend more then anybody in the world on health care, and get less. Why? Because, unlike the rest of the civilized world, healthcare is not an entitlement that government insures for the governed. It is a for profit business that makes more money when you are not treated then when you are. Think about it.

The so-called 'immigrant problem' is hardly a problem, but is the way this country has functioned for generations. Making an issue out of it is a smokescreen for the failure of our leaders to do their job. The result will be hurting very poor people mostly, and a disruption of the very bottom of the labor market.

We rank in education, as a nation.... Oh shit... I'm sorry... I just went on way too far.... my apologies.. I cannot stand one more moment of listening to these lying liars and the lies they tell. It's really too much...

We have to focus on the damage already done by George Bush...and stop this talk of using band-aids to stop a major hemorrhage.
