Hanging from lampposts....

Could it ever happen... that I might be driving down the street with my little niece in the car, and we turn onto a street where there are men and a few women in business suits hanging by the neck from lampposts? And my niece asks me: "Who are those people uncle?". And I would reply, "They are bankers sweetie. They stole lots and lots of money from the people and paid themselves millions of dollars. They are bad people, and bad things happen to bad people".

No. It won't. Pappy Bush bailed out the Savings & Loan swindle, at our expense, and now Jr., not to be outdone in anything except achievement by his father, is going to one up him with the mother of all bailouts. And so the legacy of the Republican big lie continues.

But let it be known far and wide how fundamentally pervasive the Republican big lie is. Let it be known that the deficit under Reagan/Bush went from one trillion to four trillion. Under Bush Jr..... well... we thought it would be around 10 trillion when he left office... but Junior looks to be making a last ditch effort to run up the numbers before he leaves his long and destructive tenure in office.

Let it be known how under Republican administrations, government grew, and the middle class shrunk. Let it be known how the infrastructures of healthcare and education have suffered under Republican rule. Dammit. Wake up America. The Republican party has been the shill of the ultra rich for more then a generation. They support and enable only the energy companies, the war industries and the most greedy of the the financial sector. At our expense.

Perhaps it's to late, our ignoble empire is sinking, damn near without comment into the sea. And now, the government is taking on another trillion dollars to bail out thoughtless investment by our 'leading' financial institutions. Perhaps their stated goal of less government is by any means possible. Even if it destroys our country.

So, please, don't worry about islamofacism. That's kid's stuff compared to the destructive and nihilistic Republican party. And no, there will never be strange pinstriped fruit blowing in the wind. Sorry my niece.

The already damned....

Anyone who would listen and believe a fat, whore mongering, hateful heroin addict is probably not going to read articles debunking his mendacious swill.

Memo to Mr. Bohner

Dear Mr. Boehner,

As it is clear, you don't know what is going on in the economy, let me clue you in: It is tanking. It is tanking because you and your party for years have promoted the big lie (one of many) that deregulating the banks and financial institutions will lead to prosperity. Uh... well.. as usual, you were wrong. It led to greed and avarice that has brought us to our knees economically.

The president will, as he always does, do everything he can to raise the amount of debt owed by the federal government. He will take the prudent steps to save the economy, and then he will push to buy all the bad debt that is frankly the problem of rich people and not ours. (of course, that is why he will propose such a program... as it helps his friends).

I am hoping the American people are waking up to the ways of your Lie, Cheat and Steal party... so keep up the lip flapping... as you may soon be unemployed.

Fingernails on the chalkboard....

Thank you Mr. Koppelman, you nailed it on the head... the interview was painful. But for me, and I hope much, rather most of America, it was most painful because the media has already debunked much of their lie, cheat and steal rhetoric. But still, painful it was. I watched the whole thing, and I cannot believe... biased as I am and all.... that the middle America American would not find her strikingly empty.

However, not as versed in the code words as those who practice them are, I fear there is enough coded rhetorical hits to the reflective points of the conservative body politic to create the knee jerk that was intended.

We have been under siege for the past eight years. It is time that we all get involved, and fight back. Knee jerk to the conservatives or not, no matter. The vast majority of this country are truly well meaning and reasonable thinking people. I think. So, I hope this wakes up more of America to vote against the Lie, Cheat and Steal party to salvage what is left of what they have made America.

In addition to the nearly ten trillion dollar Republican made deficit doubled under George W. Bush... we have absorbed Fanny Mae, and Freddie Mac ... not to mention the bailout of AIG....we are on the hook for so much debt created by the big lie of the Republican party which is less government means more prosperity... Well yes... if you are making a lot of money, and don't have to pay taxes to support health, education and infrastructure... you end up with a really nice house and cars, in a country of uneducated people driving on shit roads who are not healthy. Hang on... that sounds distinctly third world.

Well there you have it folks.... Gov. Palin, John McCain, are dedicated to continuing the Bush and Republican legacy to turn us into a third world country.
