the sinking of the good ship Lollypop....
[Read the article: Will conservatives vote for John McCain?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It is clear that the Republican party is suffering from the weight of so many lies, deceits and thievery. Not one aspect of the so called 'conservative agenda' was realized in the eight years of George W. Bush... with the sad and major exception of stacking the court with right wing nut jobs.
However, a ten trillion dollar deficit, an out of control war, a shattered domestic infrastucture and a foreign policy is to big for even the fattest assed elephant to sit on. But the sinking economy will only enforce the eviction notice for the capos in Washington, just as it did the last time they ruined the economy at the end of the reign of Bush I.
Maybe this time there will be indictments and not bailouts. Though it may be too late. Our empire is over it's credit limit....

Just what we need....
[Read the article: Quote of the day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Great.... another Ronald Reagan. Reagan took a 1 trillion dollar deficit and with the help of George I, it ballooned to 4 trillion dollars. Under Bush II, it will be at 10 trillion dollars when his destructive tenure as president ends.
The lying liars and the lies they tell are destroying America. So... if you hate America, please... vote for John McCain... after all he could be another Ronald Reagan.

Keeping the party going....
[Read the article: Rove for Romney?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Come on, the McCain/Huckabee fix has been on for a while now... in fact, I am quite sure that whomever the nominee would be, Huckabee would be the VP choice. After all, he represents the lunatic religious right that got our war criminal commander in thief elected twice. The Lie, Cheat and Steal party will do anything to keep their machine going.

Heir to the throne...
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I will miss Mr. Favre... his endurance, skill and love of the game will endure. So will, I hope, his protogé Aaron Rogers.... who looked to be a very scholarly student of Professor Favre. In that one game...late in the season... when Aaron Rogers came in for the ailing Brett, he took control of the game with confidence. He new the plays, and managed the huddle quickly and confidently. His game play also reflected his tutelage with Mr. Favre, down to the ever so goofy, but ever so effective over-the-top play acting after he has handed the ball away. The only difference was that young Rogers was hitting his marks about forty percent faster then his older prototype. I look forward to a new era, with the ghost of Brett Favre properly installed in the new journeyman Aaron Rogers.

Good ol' boys to the last...
[Read the article: Bush, reluctant to give up the spotlight, endorses McCain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Let's hope that Bush, a man that McCain has "great admiration, respect and affection" for, follows him on the campaign trail. McCain has done nothing to renounce the lying, cheating and stealing ways of his terminally corrupt Republican party.

Good bye Mr. Spitzer. You built your own coffin... and I shed not even a fake tear at your passing.
[Read the article: New York Gov. Spitzer resigns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Let us not lament on the end of the career of Spitzer. Instead, let's focus on the laws of this land that ended his career...laws that he spent most of his professional life upholding and promoting. Laws that now have one in every 100 citizens in jail. We are not the land of the free. Mr. Spitzer is an enabler of this broken system of justice that we have, and deserves to die on the sword he honed.

A promise.
[Read the article: "You don't care what the American people think?"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]When (the sooner the better) Dick Cheney dies, I am going to make a point of it to raise any flag that has been brought to half mast on public land. And I will, travel to wherever he is buried and piss on his grave. Hopefully, I will be arrested, as I want there to be a permanent record of my very sincere deed.

Morons Ltd.
[Read the article: Heckuva job, Condi]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Bushco Inc, otherwise known as Morons Ltd., have no intention of doing anything that they say is their stated goal. You don't negotiate after you have filled the coffers of the other side. If 'Condi' Rice would go out there and say "Here's the deal, do as we say or we stop sending money"... GUESS WHAT! The gates of negotiation will be opened.
It is the same as the financial reform that is now dead on arrival. There will be no financial reform of the shadow banking industry, because they know that they will get our money poured in from the government with or without regulation... so guess what, they will choose no regulation.
It does amaze me how insistent this administration and the Republican party has been to destroying the infrastructure of the United States and sinking our empire. Oh well, I guess that's what you get when you have been such a lousy caretaker of the number one power in the world.

My vote
[Read the article: Fox News' influence on the Democratic race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I will vote for the candidate who promises in the first 100 days to ban FOX's use of the word "news" for it's propaganda.
-
you misunderstand me 'Ironocrat'
[Read the article: Fox News' influence on the Democratic race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm not talking about a president, like the criminal one we have now who controls the media and bans words like 'due process', 'habeas corpus', 'constitutional rights' and such. I'm talking about a president who will not allow the public airwaves to be used for the private enhancement of right wing extremists. At least not whilst misleading the public as to the nature of their product.... which is anything but 'news'.

Ahhh..if only it were socialism....
[Read the article: The Federal Reserve's "socialist" agenda]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Dear Senator Bunning,
Let's leave aside the fact that the Republican's, from subsidies to oil companies to no bid contracts to their friends, should be used to handing out no strings attached tax payer money.... but surely the idea of socialism has to do with community ownership... But really, this is far from socialism.. this is just another hand out with no real strings attached of tax payer money for corporate irresponsibility. It's not socialism...it's thievery. (come on Senator, your party's stock and trade is thievery and deception ... how do you think we have ended up with a 10 trillion dollar deficit?)
You should be concerned... I'm concerned too... but it's not socialism that is in fact at play here...but fascism.

More hogshit from the war criminals....
[Read the article: No more "rose-colored glasses" at the White House?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Doesn't matter what sort of glasses they are wearing or not wearing if they are blind in the first place.

A witness who would know.....
[Read the article: Vitter's prostitution headache about to get worse?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Sounds like they will call Vitter as an 'expert' witness....
