Waiting for contrition? What is it?

Is anyone expecting George W. Bush to come out and say "Yes, you are right. I specifically ordered the CIA and our armed forces to break the laws of the Geneva Convention, and torture people".

Has anyone in the history of war crimes ever admitted that they were culpable for those crimes? I mean, really, these people are not going to simply admit their crimes and get out of town. That is the job of others (uh... who have obviously not been doing their jobs).

For the record: There were no WMD's. Iraq was not connected to Al Queda, the was no nuclear program, we were not greeted as liberators, and actual diplomatic solutions were rejected on the eve of war. Finally, one million, two hundred thousand people have lost their lives at a cost of about a trillion dollars borrowed from the future of the American people.

Is Congress waiting for the president to come forward and express his remorse for War Crimes, Crimes Against the Peace and Crimes Against Humanity? Come on folks, this is more serious then getting a blowjob during working hours.

Hannah Montana Vanilli whaaaa????

I'm sorry? Who is this person? They are a musician? Their work is that transcendent that it creates this enormous demand? Geeez.... I must not be paying attention. Why, a new Mozart may be in our midst, and I don't even know about it.

Evangelical daughter

Dear Unholy Father,

Some kids just go bad. But look at the bright side..... ahhh..... who am I kidding. The evangelicals are like zombies from a horror movie. Try fire. I hear they are afraid of fire.

Sounds like chaos to me...

The upside is that all of this confusion and lack of cohesion could actually lead to a candidate coming in late and taking it all. I won't mention names (Gore)... but ya' know... if it happened...why we would at least resemble a democracy....

Original article: The liberal news media

Support for the big lie...

Not to make to fine a point of having ones head in the sand... but Republican's have done little to affect change in their party in light of record deficits, (failed) nation building, historically large government, abridgment of constitutional rights, lies and thievery.

The only thing that the Republican's can claim is that they do not tax and spend. They borrow and spend. And we pay, and will pay for a generation.

Point: In a new Gallup Poll, 77 percent of Republicans say that the news media is "too liberal."

Which means 77 percent of Republican's believe in the "Big Lie".

Bush's guy...

If sanity and the rule of law return, then perhaps Karl will get his wish... and be known in the Hague as "Defendant".

Riddle....

Q: What's the difference between the rubber stamp Republican run majority and the Democratic run majority?

A: Bitching and moaning. The stamping goes on.

PPPfffflllttt.... come on really now. Is anyone surprised?

My goodness, a genuine organization that is actually tracking terrorists. Must put a stop to that!

Of course the White House leaked the tape, thus undermining years of anti-terrorist investigations. These are the same people who outed Valerie Plame. Bush needs Bin Laden. The last thing he would want is for some damn fool organization to find him. Without Bin Laden, Bush is just another garden variety despot war criminal.... as opposed to his efforts to leave the White House with the nickname "The Anti-Christ".

Nauseating Ads......

Thank you Michael Scherer. No one in their right mind could have sat through these bottom feeders throwing pebbles at each other, whilst describing what to do about the huge gash in the bottom of the S.S. Titanic that we are all sailing on.

Needless to say, none of them, with the exception of Ron Paul offered unlocking the doors to the steerage section so that the poor would have just the slightest chance of survival. Little do they know that there are not enough lifeboats, even for the rich on deck. They would do best to continue as they have, by telling the orchestra to keep playing that song over and over.

In other words... blah, blah, blah....

With the exception of Ron Paul, the rest of the Republican candidates seem perfectly happy to 'stay the course' with regards to the empty big lie that they have been previously so successful in shoving down the throats of America. It's like trying to decide which three monty scam artist is steal your money based on the wit of their patter.

Dear Karen cont....

PS.

the body of my letter encourages you to do the right thing. I have offered this in the hopes that you are somewhat sentient and not one of the truly psychotic and misguided criminals who are running the show. However, if you are not able to open your eyes to the crimes that are being committed, please keep in mind that your silence could be considered "Aiding and Abetting" and might not keep you out of jail once sanity and law regain their footing in this country.

The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court is looking into this matter, though at this time they don't have enough evidence to bring charges as yet(although I'm sure the one million, two hundred thousand Iraq's already killed by this war of hubris and lies would disagree). However, this movie, and the inevitable loss of power, which is coming your way, will free up those dedicated to truth and the rule of law in uncovering the horrific and unprecedented crimes of the administration for which you serve.

This being said, if your interest is not the obvious moral choice, then it should be for your own self preservation, unless you find that your service to the President extends to going to jail for him as a conspirator. The choice is yours. These crimes have been committed, and not even FOX NEWS will be able to spin you a get out of jail free card. Think about it.

Oh... and if none of this gets through to you, remember this: You will burn in hell.
