  • War without end.... crimes without cops.... murder without cause.

[Read the article: What about political progress, Gen. Petraeus?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Double talk! Triple talk! Quadruple talk! What ever it takes! Just don't look at the man behind the curtain. The great Oz is a cranky old sociopathic alcoholic surrounded by a latter day Praetorian Guard. The leader of that guard, Petraeus, sounds like he is out of the pages of ancient Rome. Perhaps he is. About the time of the fall.

So.. now we move the goal posts yet again. Only they are not goal posts... not like in a game of sport... these are decisions that cost thousands and thousands of lives. The blood on the Bushists hands is thought to be somewhere over half a million. But who knows, because no one is counting.

How can anyone of conscious allow these war crimes to continue? Seriously.

  • Calling the kettle shiny....

[Read the article: The scruffy charms of an insecure president]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Ahhh another tome from an apologist for the worst president in the history of our country....

"Biographer Robert Draper explains that Bush has a surprising intellect but is incapable of curiosity and owning up to mistake"

That's certainly a nice way of describing a sociopathic, alcoholic war criminal.

  • The great anathema...

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Kornheiser is perhaps the very worst sports broadcaster to ever be foisted on the viewing public. He is unbelievably unfunny... almost to the point of being funny, but unfortunately, remains an annoying drone dedicated to finding new levels of banality in his endless and pointless chatter.

I never thought that I would find somebody less funny then the Nazi comedian Dennis Miller. But, Kornheiser has surpassed that ultra conservative's witless blather.

  • Skype virus....

[Read the article: Beware the Skype worm]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I was sent that virus, my open window in Skype with a friend had suddenly a one sided conversation of about ten lines (including two references to the same link)... the text sent to me was in Russian, and cyrillic at that... which although my friend is in Russia... she never speaks to me in Russian... so I thought it curious. I clicked on the link, and it went nowhere (I then Googled the link and found articles about the virus)...

The link that I was sent is now dead. However, my friend, who works in a software company in Russia that does a lot of business with Skype had to inform all of her contacts, both business and professional of this virus, how to purge it, etc.

While I should not have clicked on the link... to respond to Bukk63's letter "Can you ever stop talking about Apple"... I need to comment: My clicking on the link to the virus resulted in NOTHING.... because my computer is an APPLE!

  • Stop the rubber stamp democrats!

[Read the article: Those disappearing benchmarks, again]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The problem isn't with the Bush junta and their endless lying, cheating and stealing... The problem is with the Democratic majority and their rubber stamping of the war criminals requests to continue funding the war.

If the Democrats pass a bill that defunds, draws down or changes the course of this crime against humanity in Iraq, let the president veto it. Then stand your ground. No bill, no funding. If the only bill offered is one that the American people want (which is a realistic approach to ending this war) then the onus is on the Bushists to pass it. If they do not... then there is no funding.

The President cannot raise funds. He can only sign bills or veto them. If he vetos a bill, then there is no funding until he passes a bill. If the only bill available to him is a bill that offers a true solution to the endless war, then that's it. Sign the bill, end the war, don't sign the bill, end the war sooner. It really is that simple.

Stop blaming Bush and his war crimes co-conspirators. We know they are assholes, we know that they have no intention of either ending this war or being honest with the people.

Just because there is a lot of grumbling by the democrats as they pass these funding bills doesn't make them any less of a rubber stamp legislature then the criminally negligent Republican majority that they replaced.

Passing the any bill that is shaped by this worst of all presidents is continuing the crimes against the peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity that the Bushists are truly guilty of.

  • "the consequences of failure"

[Read the article: The "Return on Success" and the "consequences of failure"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It seems that the legacy that George W. Bush will leave us when his reign of chaos and destruction is finally over will the consequences of failure.

In every direction, as far as the eye can see... there will be little of the American landscape (including the landscape) that has not been adversely affected by our own war criminal president.

  • Smelling a rat?

[Read the article: Clinton, Petraeus and MoveOn: Giuliani smells a rat]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Poor Rudy. He really needs to get a better deodorant.

  • Isn't it clear, beyond clear by now?

[Read the article: 2006 by 2008? Well, maybe not exactly]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Does anyone think that we are going to be out of Iraq or even in the direction of a solution in the next year? Do you really? Cool... then I've got a really great used bridge for you to buy...

If Congress, with its Democrat majority, wanted to end the war, they could do so by passing a bill that would end the war. The President could even veto it. As long as Congress does not revise the bill to the presidents liking, no bill is passed, no funds will be raised. End of war.

But they don't. So.. what ever they say, as they grumble and jump up and down, as long as they continue to fund this war, they are the same as the rubber stamp assholes they replaced.
