And then there is Connecticut ....

Fourteen months ago, the Connecticut Republican (Shays).... announced that most U.S. troops should be removed from Iraq in 2007, saying that "the only way we are able to encourage some political will on the part of the Iraqis is to have a timeline for troop withdrawal." That position helped Shays squeeze out a 51 percent victory in his antiwar home state.

Hmmm...is there a pattern here with Connecticut legislators saying anything they can to get re-elected and then fall back into their true neocon positions? Reminds me of another legislature from Connecticut.

Perhaps there are statistically significantly more people who believe in the 'supernatural' in Connecticut then in the rest of the country.

Ahhh... yes... perish the thought!

Yes, it would be so unfortunate if things were indeed run by Code Pink... What these ladies have against war crimes is beyond me. I was particularly touched that while the Code Pink people in the back row, who had not disrupted the meeting were being forcibly and violently removed (and presumably arrested).... Condi kept her oblivious composure, offering her cheerful nice to see ya's to the seated panel. I understand that after that, Ms. Rice then offered up her usual flat out lies to the assembled legislators. Such a nice person that Condi.

I do miss her playing piano and singing negro spirituals for John Ashcroft and the neocons at their Christmas get togethers.

Original article: Quick, somebody bomb Iran!

Stopping the terrorists.

I remember packing what I could not live without, and putting it into the trunk of a car along with the rest of my family's could not live without items, as an intense firestorm burned down thousands of homes in Berkeley and Oakland 15 years ago. From the deck of our house, you could feel the heat of the flames on your face. The wind shifted, and our house was spared. But many of my friends and thousands of others lost everything. I preface my personal story to as a point of empathy to the thousands in Southern California who are in a similar situation.

While there are certainly a number of possibilities of causes of the fires, I'm sure that Al Queda is not one of them. The FOX propaganda network continues to behave in a most irresponsible manner. These fires, as with all disasters are very difficult for the people who are impacted. Adding to the sorrow and confusion with baseless fantasies is disgusting.

I suggest to any that are approached by a FOX news crew trying to fill out their 24 hour 'news' hysteria cycle, to take the camera off them, and chuck it into the street. Let's fight terrorism together!

The self described Bush regime...

Bush: "We're at war with coldblooded killers who despise freedom, reject tolerance, and kill the innocent in pursuit of their political vision ..."

I couldn't have described you better Mr. Bush.

Impeach, then jail.

Original article: War or Whac-a-Mole?

more of the same....

How come I get the feeling that no matter what the news reports, the result is consistently a repackaged version of 'stay the course'?

Accompanying each report is this kind of analysis of chaos, which again, is repackaged according to todays spin of events and circumstances.

Honestly, how many ways can you express 'war crimes' before we stop this madness?

"He's jeopardizing people's careers."

Yes, and if the one million, two hundred thousand dead Iraqi's resulting from his illegal war are any indication, he could give a fuck.

Mean Mr. Mustard...

Mean Mr. Mustard lives on a lark

Raves in the dark, thinks he saves paper.

Sleeps with a hole in his head.

Trying to give poor children the hose

Used to put cocaine up his nose.

Such a mean old man.

Such a mean old man.

Original article: A cakewalk for Mukasey?

Senators pleased with nominee....

It's certainly advantageous to go before a senate softened so completely with six years of partisan apparachniks body blows. And as a successor to a criminal sycophant so entrenched in promoting the chaotic and destructive rule of George W. Bush, it couldn't be easier. Should be good enough. Certainly couldn't be worse.

If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator...

Original article: Never mind

Kneecapping...

You certainly do need to look after your knees when cross the war criminals responsible for the illegal war in Iraq.

The beached whale doth protest too much...

Rush, suffice to say, since they are probably not Republican's, it is doubtful that they are deviant sex fiends, or closeted drug addicts. So, knock yourself out fatman, flap them flippers about, while sucking on your cock sized cigar. Or, just chill out, and pop some narcotics. One day we will find out about you and under-aged hookers you frequent outside this country. Oh yes we will, and there will be pictures. Ya' evil schmuck.

The internet according to Sen. Craig:

"The Internet is not something you take a dump on. It's not a toilet. It's a series of tubes, to suck on....And if you don't understand, those tubes can be filled. And if they are filled, when you put your "message" in, it gets in line or in a stall and it's going to be excited by anyone that puts that tube into their mouth creating enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material."

Rude boy's letter continued....

..... while we do appreciate your donation, our market research pollsters found that when we say up front "It's all about 9/11", it turns off a certain segment of the population that we still want to fool into voting for us.

Furthermore, we can gain a whole lot more out of returning the nearly insignificant amount that you have sent us, then the cost and paperwork of processing your miniscule donation.

So, thank you again for your contribution. Please send us more money in different denominations then the measly $9.11 cents you have sent us. And just so you know what the stakes are. Remember what happened on 9/11. If you don't vote for me the terrorists will strike again. This time in your backyard. Thank you again for your support.
