Your list of three possible Republican pundits has two serious flaws:
1) Jim "Ernest" Varney and John "Dean Wormer" Vernon are, sadly, both dead. Although they might serve as reminders of the heyday of the Death Tax ululations.
2) Oscar the Grouch would be a poor spokesman, as he made his coin on that haven of commu-socialism PBS. Also, he only has a *hand* up his ass.
The projected lifetime of the Sun in its current state is more like 5,000,000,000 years. Have a beer.
