Total Nonsense

A person, male or female, whatever their function in life, has a right to choose who they play golf with ....... or who they choose to associate with in any activity they choose to participate in whenever they are not involved in that function.

When you start trying to tell someone who they can hunt, fish, play basketball with, knit with, etc, etc when they are not working you are denying them the right to choose their own company ..... a fundamental right of any individual.

There are real issues concerning Obama to be concerned about ....

Unfortunately, gender cannot be associated with any intrinsic characteristics of either intelligence, reason or morality.

Unfortunately, I would also say that all politicians are more alike in the things that are important than they are different in the things that are of no relevance to the function they are supposed to be fulfilling (ie, gender, age, area of country they are from, professed religious beliefs, etc) ....

ie, none of them can be trusted ..... their actions do not parallel their statements (they are liars) and they are more concerned with their own interests than those of the public.

@otter2

People are discriminated against everyday ..... from anything from race to lack of social/political connections (who you know).

I was discriminated against when I applied to medical school because of my age. Even when the assistant dean of one of the schools admitted it (off the record), I was unable to to pay the legal funds required to fight to be treated fairly (winning the case would have only have gotten me admitted to school ..... no financial damages would be awarded and therefore the lawyers wanted $250.00 and hour which I could not afford).

What good are laws against discrimination for any reason if they cannot be utilized unless one if relatively wealthy?

I would also argue that gender discrimination is, generally speaking, a lot less of a factor today than other forms of discrimination.

I agree ..... the monkey species homo sapiens is fundamentally and irreparably flawed ...... and their relationship with the earth and other life forms is the relationship of cancer cells in any living body.

Exploitation Is the Fundamental Requirement ...

For capitalism to function .......

And anyone who works a job they do not like is a whore.

Whenever you must be subservient to or please people you do not like, you are prostituting yourself.

Every woman wants something from a man before she has sex with him even if its only attention.

All women are whores and all men are johns ..... the only difference is the nature of the "price" paid.

So prostitution is already legal in this country.

Rumors Are That His Sources Included .....

Chicken Little, General Dickhead and scores of "I am connected to the military-industrial complex and make obscene amounts of money on war".

Chicken hawks should be put in uniforms and sent to the front.

Churchill and Lincoln ?? We know a little bit about what those wars were about. Afghanistan is about as ill-defined a situation as I've ever seen.

Original article: Taking back the road trip

Why Aren't There .....

Two males crossing looking for masculinists, two older folks looking for elderists, two younger folks looking for youngerists, two black folks looking for blackerists, etc, etc ????

Because such characteristics used to define people have nothing to do with who each person really is ...... as an individual and as a human being.

Quote

"The problem is that thinking that you can learn to make to love to a woman from watching porn is like thinking you can learn to drive from watching "The Fast and the Furious.""

Yes, there is, always has been, and always will be a difference between "making love" and the mechanical act of sex ...... anyone who has lived on a farm knows the difference.

There has to be some type of emotional connection and respect ...

Good Article

Hitler found a new "enemy" every month.

Fear clouds the mind and prevents rational appraisal.

Instead of looking at what is being pointed to (as being a problem), look instead to who is doing the pointing (the real enemy).

Americans have been kept in a state of fear since 9/11 ..... this keeps them perpetually off-balance and hopefully distracted and focused on the irrelevent so they are less likely to look where the real problem is coming from ......

Now its swine flu and the economy ... and Iran, etc .......

Look instead to the money-changers (bankers), the MI Complex and a totally corrupt govt system.

This decision does not surprise me ........ the US govt broke every treaty they made with the native americans ....... everybody knows that ....... but the govt will not admit it because it would establish a "legal precedent" (in other words they would have a legal argument in court to get their land back ....... and that ain't going to happen because we don't really believe in justice and fairness .... that is mythology for the masses).

I've seen this behavior in everything from local magistrates (justices of the peace) up to medical school admission committees.

The bigger the institution, the greater the abuses .....

The abuse is that these people do not believe in the laws themselves ....... the laws are for the "little people" to believe in ....... while those in power believe they are above the law and can do whatever they want to do ...... hypocrisy of the worse sort which breeds cynicism of the worse sort.

I'm so cynical I think I will die of it.
