@-- msimamaji

Your first mistake was too assume you live in a democracy ..... it is a plutocracy.

Numerous barriers have been set-up by both parties to prevent the formation of third or multiple parties.

The American people allowed Bush to seize the National Guard, whose original purpose was to protect the states from oppression by the federal govt ...... and march to Washington to overthrow the govt if necessary.

All 50 states have called for a Constitutional Convention (2/3 is all that is required by the Constitution) and Congress forbids it .........

The tallest buildings in every city belong to the insurance companies .....

The corporations will never allow the govt to to address the needs of the american people (and that includes toxins in our food, etc).

There is only one solution but the american people are too busy chewing their cud.

Denial Produces Depression

The FTC allows direct to consumer drug ads on tv because big corporations get what they want ....... no matter how unethical or unreasonable.

The govt and the regulatory agencies are simply whores for the moneyed interests.

Deep down (perhaps on the subconscious level), people know they live in a plutocracy ....... they know that we do not have a democracy ....... they know that the two-party system is a farce.... perpetrated to give an illusion of choice ...... and that both parties work for the same folks.

Perhaps they realize deep down that their finances, their health and their destiny rests in the hands of whores and people who value money and property more than the lives of their fellow citizens and human beings.

It Worse Than You Think

When one includes narcotics, muscle relaxants, sleeping aids, benzodiazepines (anti-anxiety) and stimulants (all of which are addicting), I would say 40% of the the american people are on psychotropics.

If you include anti-psychotics, which are not addicting, I would put it at 50%.

And there is no doubt in my mind that american docs are putting more addictive drugs on the streets than the Columbian drug lords.

You're Right .....

But the american people would do it (fall for it) again ......

all it takes is a little fear and they turn into unthinking screaming monkeys.

As for the Chicks, they made the mistake of saying what they did on stage (it was alright to do so on the stage at Woodstock) ........ I still can't believe they didn't know what kind of narrow-minded idiots listen to that sorry-assed pop music referred to as "country music" these days ....... i.e., I can't believe they didn't even know their own audience.

Get Drunk and Then Complain About Feeling Like Shit

The only thing more disgusting than the behavior you describe is the people who watch it and then complain about it.

I stopped watching television three years ago ...... why stick your face in a pile of dogshit and then complain about the smell.

Yeh, Right

No one with a majority in the senate and house could bungle something this badly (considering the finesse of his campaign) unless it was planned.

When Obama picked Washington insider professional politicians, rather than bringing in real people from outside the political system (like Roosevelt did), I knew there would be no significant change.

LBJ would laugh at this Congress's inability to line-up even the members of its own party.

It the reason is that the Congressmen are a bunch of whores who have sold their souls to the drug and insurance corporations, let Obama say so.

My opinion ........ and I hope I'm proven wrong.

Yeast or Hemorrhoid Commercials .....

Would be more palatable ......

I hate any commercial about anything .... and most anybody is willing to be a whore for the corporations .....

Capitalism - the proliferation of unneeded objects to the detriment of the whole planet .....

Use these tampons and you can be Serena fucking Williams ....

Just Another Whore .....

Who has sold-out the american people for his 30 pieces of silver.

Its time for the hanging to begin.

The Administration/Corporate Media ....

Is preparing the american sheep for a military strike (probably by Israel) ....

The Pentagon now hires PR firms to shape American opinion and pays them large bucks .....

Its no different than advertising really ...... you're selling something ....... only in this case you're selling the need for some type of action (military in this case) rather than a product ......

We've seen this before leading up to the Iraq invasion ...... and the color-code system of Homeland Security .......

A little fear and the American people will consent to anything ....... they really are a bunch of pussies ....

I really love the way the media is stampeding the public into enriching the drug companies with the swine flu vaccine con ...... the CDC's data itself shows the bug is less virulent than the seasonal flu.

The following quote from Hermann Goering at the Nuremberg trials sums up the process in a "nutshell" (and since he was one of Hitler's inner circle, he was certainly familiar with the process).

__________________________________________________________

“Naturally the common people don’t want war. But after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and for exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.”

--- Hermann Goering, Hitler’s Reich Marshall, at the Nuremberg

Trials after World War II.

Totally Disagree ....

And it dilutes the award for those who follow ...

Which one of the following peaceful actions was the award for ..?

A) Escalating the war in Afghanistan

B) Preventing the violence of the bankers committing suicide

if their thieving, lying, greedy asses hadn't been saved

working class people.

The world is so devoid of leadership that those who speak a rhetoric of "good intentions" qualify as admirable people.

I'm going to vomit ....
