Why are you surprised?

Republicans have no "plan" to fix anything. The only things they think government is good for is running the sex lives of consenting adults and giving hand outs to their donors. Hell, the only reason they even get elected is through fear of things that will either never happen, don't affect your life, or aren't very likely (gays marrying, gays marrying your children, terrorist attacks in small towns). They are the party of big business, and that is who they will serve.

Original article: Obama meets with House GOP

Since Obama reminding them wasn't enough, perhaps it's our turn...

Everyone write to your republican representative and remind them who won the last election. Remind them that they let a city drown and started a war based on lies. And especialy remind them that Obama reachng out to them at all is a hell of a lot more then his predeccesor did to the opposition party. They lost, it's time to shut up and obey.

I see the trolls are out again...

Better get used to coming to your messiah's aid, cons. You'll be defending his "legacy" for the next thirty years! Starting wars based on lies is a crime, deal with it! We will pressure President Obama to prosecute.

Most conservatives are creationists

Which means they don't understand how science works anyway.

Tuesday, January 27, 2009 09:34 AM

Yeah, good luck with that.

She's gonna need more then the culture war to run on if she wants to win an actual national campaign. Half the country doesn't take too kindly to being called phony Americans. Hey, maybe they'll need to bring in a "special advisor" to help her run the country just like they did to help her run Alaska too! Welcome to the real world, sister!

The Jim

Yes, because selling a senate seat isn't in the least bit illegal. Idiot!

Well, see that's what happens when you lose an election...

You don't get to pick what stations the president appears on. The rights bullshit symbolism is why they lost in the first place. Refusing to admit they were wrong about the Iraq war is why Obama is president now. It's also why he has to go on arab television in the first place to assure them we aren't their enemies. They don't seem to get that he is trying to improve our station over there that their guys arrogance destroyed. He's trying to clean up your messes, republicans. Your the ones who made this necessary.

BTW: That website couldn't be more apptly named!

Oh, but I thought republicnas didn't see race!

I guess when they lose an election to a black guy, little things like principles go out the window. Typical cons, they think Obama won because of his race. Actual policy notwithstanding.

Since when is Fox "News" a "victim" of anything?

Geraldo is a hack! He was a hack in the eighties and he's still one now. That's why he's at Fox, no legitimate news organization will hire him. Blago didn't cancel because he was afraid of tough questions (though he is) he did it because Geraldo isn't a real newsman and his network isn't a real news network. The guys reputation is in the tiolet, why would he sully it further by appearing on a fake "news" channel?

Since when is talk radio NOT transparently partisan and outright silly?

Hey trolls, if your party had done something with these people in the first place, you wouldn't need to worry about this now. Oh, wait, that involves actual planning instead of enriching your buddies. Sorry, I guess it's beyond your parties skills, huh? The better solution is to let them sit down there and continue to mooch off taxpayer dollars. Yeah, WE'RE the idiots.

Original article: Quote of the day

I guess you CAN be wrong only so many times...

And all it took was, what, 5 to 8 years of failure for them to finally fire his ass?

dick dworkin

If conservatives are going to act like children, I say we treat them like children. I am sick of playing by rules the other side doesn't follow anyway. A society is supposed to be based on mutual agreements that everyone adheres to no matter what our differences. The right spent the past eight years flushing those rules of social commodity down the drain. They shouldn't get to benefit from them now.

I see the trolls are out

Which proves that conservatives are hypocrites. If we go to one of thier sites, we would be banned, but of course they can come here and bash Obama all they want despite all the damage they have done to this coutnry over the past eight years. Limbaugh doesn't believe in free speech for people who disagree with him so it shoudn't apply to him anyway.

Why are you surprised?

The MSM has been worthless for at least a decade now. I hold them at least 50% responsible for Shrubs election in 2000 (The other 50% being the public for not being able to tell that when a politician says his favorite philosopher is Jesus he is pandering and has no intention of addressing any real issues). When the TODAY show stops inviting Ann Coulter, a woman who has openly expressed her hatred for NBC, on as a commentator and give as much thoughtful examination to Obama's policies as they do to who got kicked off American Idol the night before, then I might consider watching them again but I doubt it. The whole media has a lot of soul searching to do after the past eight years and it doens't look like they are off to a very good start. When David Gregory goes on the air and admits it was inapropriate for a news comentator to perform a rap with the campaign manager of the president, then you might see some real introspection. I'm not holdng my breath, though.

I get my news from Democracy NOW and GRIT TV. This is the only way the MSM is going to learn is if people stop tuning in. They are already hurting, let's bring the hammer down.

She's still a whore

That better be some damn good poontang for $3.8 million! For that kind of money, you could afford your own harum. Maybe she should be arrested for exploiting the stupid.
