Paddleman

How many of Bush's "ackolytes" honestly beleived he was "appointed by God"? How many "ackolytes" accused anyone of treason that questioned the Iraq war? How about you guys get your own houses in order before you come knocking on our doors? BTW: Do you have any proof of your claim that we beleive Obama is equal to God? Becuase I have several nieghbors who think the exact same as Bush.

While your at it, you can start by discrediting the claims the article made instead of simply crying about how unfair it was. How many times did we have to listen to how "unpatriotic" we were for not supporting the war in Iraq? It might interest you to learn that our "hatred" of Bush is acutally based on his policies. Too bad you can't say the same about your hatred of Clinton.

Concerning your critical look at McCain, I'm far more concerned with the leadership he displayed in the navy, and all the years of doing what he believed was right in the senate, which you conveniently ignore.

And how many years has it been since we've seen that McCain? So far, the only things he's done lately are pander to the religous extremist groups repubicans need to win elections. Some maverick!

How much have you confronted them so far?

Your letter didn't specify if you have already confronted them about the contradictions in their philosophy. If you have already done this then I say go ahead and cut the purse strings. If not, then do it ASAP. Either way, I find it hard to believe these people can't see that they can't even fend for themselves yet supporting a party that is hanging them out to dry and hates their son. I wonder how much progress you can actually make if they can't see, or don't care about, that now?

The first thing you should do, however, is to confront your siblings. It's bullshit that you should have to carry the burden all on your own, regardless of how they vote.

A couple of corrections:

"Obama won't own up to voting for partial-birth abortion even though the facts prove he did."

So what? We don't care about abortion.

"And how about Obama's difficulty in admitting that the surge worked."

That's because it didn't. A change in strategy did and Bush and his cronies had nothing to do with that. The genrals on the ground are basically winning IN SPITE OF BUSH not because of him.

But please, don't let a little thing like facts get in your way. Now, why don't you cons go flog a gay kid to death or whatever it is you do for fun.

Maybe THawk is being sarcastic

I can't imagine anyone outside of talk radio taking that seriously.

I have a question for all the right wing trolls on here...

If your parents were voting for a party that was actively trying to kill you, would you still support them? Because that is the situation that the LW is in. As for the guy who suggested that he join the Log Cabin republicans. How much respect do they even get from their own party? At best they get lip service and even then it's through the back door. As time has gone on I have become convinced that, for a party that has built their platform around gay bashing, they don't even understand what homosexuality is. THawk is proof of this. This man's life is at stake if the party his parents vote for gets into power. He is fully aware of this. So the question is, are his parents?

"Too Big To Fail" has become a crutch.

It's a way for the "free market" types to accept government handouts while still railing against government handouts. "Government intrusion is bad until it benefits me." I wonder what these guys perception of "socialized medicine" would be if some well placed hacker managed to find a way into their bank acount and drain it dry. All the sudden it's not so easy to "pull yourslef up by your boot straps" now is it?

These idiots are too stupid to have the vote!

If they can't figure out that the same people who complained about Obama's lack of experience are the same ones now pushing a one term state governer into the second highest office in the country then they obviously shouldn't be allowed to vote! She was only picked to appease the theocrats and stupid Hillary dead enders who will vote for anything with a pussy! Guess what you stupid trolls? You fell for it! McCain thinks your a bunch of easy suckers and by supporting her your proving him right. In words, he knows your as stupid and guillible as we do! Thanks for proving us right, chumps!

Your problem is you are against her because she is not pro-homosexual.

Tha's right, and if you have a problem with gays too, then your a bigot.

I don't know why anyone is surprised by this

Conservatives don't have a conscience. They will do and say whatever it takes to win, all the while trying to lecture the rest of us about "morality". It's called hypocracy, it's how they've run this country for the past eight years. Hell, I bet most of the trolls on here are paid GOP hacks.
