I still don't trust this guy

The swiftboat connection is enough for me to dismiss him altogether. That little stunt gave Bush another term and now the guy behind it is expecting us to beleive that he has changed his ways? If he was half as smart as he wants us to beleive, he would have seen that Bush and his party had no interest in alternative energy even back then. He has a lot to make up for. Anyone who backed that movement could cure cancer tomorow and I still wouldn't trust them.

As for the guy complainig about one single issue, isn't that what the obsession with abortion and gay marriage is on their side?

I'm curious...

does anyone know what the opening numbers were for the first X-men movie? I remember when it first came out it didn't seem to have the epic fanfare this or even other comic book movies got. It could be because the last superhero movie before it was "Batman and Robin" and that may have simply turned the public off to superhero movies at the time (that and "Spawn" and "Steel", all of which came out in 1997).

@Ryan Adams

Thanx!

@ Hornet Driver

I guess since your so concerned about the troops, you'll support punishing those who sent them into Iraq based on lies, right?

@Hornet Driver

Being afraid of Bush-zombies calling you "traitors" tends to make politicians do stupid things. Kerry admittted he was wrong, he got the nomination, Hillary didn't, so she didn't. We held our side accountalbe for it's stupid decisions, your side didn't. Instead your still defending them.

ANTI-SEMITES!!!

This is the reaction of the coward who can't justify his position. What the right wing trolls won't tell you is that they know America has no reason to care about Israel other the to meet some self hating christian nutcases wet dream about wanting the world to end.

Just because they are a democracy doesn't mean we owe them anything. The Iranian president was also elected into power, funny how we aren't sending him weapons and whatever else he asks for. Go ahead and call me an anti-semite, it's not my fault you can't provide a good argument for why we should give a rats ass about this country more then it's nieghbors.

For a party so afraid of communism...

They sure aren't trying very hard to discredit it!

It's a shame Stone is such a crank...

because I bet the truth is far more zany then anything he could make up. I bet stuff will come out in twenty or so years that will be beyond anything we can imagine now. Wolfowitz will have some kind of deathbed confession or something. And of course half his cabinet, including Cheney and Rumsfeld, will be dead by then. Bush will come out looking like the puppet clown we all knew he was from the beginning.

Does this guy have ANY principles left at all?

His response is so forced and so fake only the stupid hicks who fell for the culture war in the first place would beleive he's sincere!

If you don't like superhero movies, DON'T WATCH THEM!

Why is this such a hard concept to understand? Why do all you supposed "intellectuals" have to take a dump on them just because YOU don't like them? Yes, the media spent too much time focused on it, that's because they spend too much time on entertainment in general instead of doing their jobs like, say, I don't know, exposing wars based on lies. That's hardly the fault of those of us who happen to like these movies. Calling us juvenile isn't going to get the media off their collective asses to expose the Bush administration.

As for bad superhero movies, some of my favorites are "Batman and Robin" because it was meant to be taken seriously, "Elektra" because the scenery is beautiful at least and "Hulk" because Jennifer Connoly is hot and I loved the idea of him getting stronger everytime he gets angry. It's the one thing I wish they had kept in the new movie. I also wish they had done a movie adaptation of "Superman Birthright" instead of trying to continue the old franchise and I'm really looking forward to Watchmen and seeing how their going to get around showing Dr. M's captain happy.

Get Over it, Pussies!

Here's my impersanation of a Hillary supporter: "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! WAAAAAAAAAAA! WAAAAAAAAAA!"

These people don't give a rats ass about whats best for this country or the troops, all they care about is themselves. Their not still cheering becuase they geniunly think she is the best choice, they just see her as a stand in for their own problems. Howard Dean is that boss that passed them over for a promotion. They insist Obama used sexism to beat her but not once, in the literally hundreds of posts they made on Salon alone, have they been able to give one example of that. This dead end devotion was annoying a month ago when she first conceded but now it's fatal. Look, PUMA pac is a republican organization, if your too stupid to see that then you aren't intelligent enough to have the vote in the first place.

Their getting desperate too, on the Rolling Stone website, one Hillary deadender pleaded with the DNC to nominate her at the last minute. And the article had nothing to do with her either! They claim that Obama is a cult of personality but what do they call devotion to a candidate who ALREADY DROPPED OUT? I tell you what, when you all are willing to acknowledge that Hillary was running on a sense of entitlement and that was the REAL reason you all still back her, then I will acknowledge the sexims in the media, fair enough?

But if any of you are still thinking of voting for McCain out of some sense of spite, I have three words for you:

IRON

MY

SHIRT!

I bet Rush is jealous of the Chinese in other ways too...

Specifically the part about being able to round up people for "unpatriotic" speech.

"If rightwingers should ever wonder how they got into their current predicament, they should start by looking at their AM radio dials."

Same thing could be said about the 1995 government shut-down, the Clinton impeachment debacle, Terri Shiavo, and Iraq. Too bad they never learn.
