  • Get over it!

The republicans are trying to turn this country into a theocracy and will roll back more then just Roe if they win again. You already know this, so you'll excuse us "Obamatons" if we don't feel the need to massage your egos, we're a little too busy trying to keep this country free. You know what is at stake, you know what the future holds if McSame wins, time to grow up.

Yes, the democratic party takes you for granted, they can afford to because the alternative is a military junta if the other side wins. We're all in the same boat as far as that goes. Being a democratic voter these days means your voting to keep your fingers in the dam, not actually fix it. But it's still better then letting the town flood.

Supposedly you voted for Hillary because of her policies, now you won't back a man who represents the same policies? Which side is really being sexist here? If McSame wins, I won't blame the brainless hicks who consider Rush to be a legitamate news source, I will blame you. You knew what was at stake and still choose to let our boys get murdered for a lie. You choose to let evolution get taken out of the schools, you choose to let gays get thrown back in the closet and under a bus (or worse) and you choose to let your own daughters and granddaughters lose their reproductive rights. All for ONE WOMAN! Hope she's worth your freedom because if McSame wins, that is what she will cost you.

The definition of freedom itself is at stake here and we need all the votes we can get. It's over, she lost for whatever reason (and yes, many of those reasons were self induced), time to fall in line. Your all adults, time to start acting like it.

  • "He used ageism, racism, and sexism to win."

When? When did he do these things? We keep hearing Hillary supporters make this claim all the time but they never back it up with any proof. Give one example when the Obama campaign used sexism or ageism. Not the media, not Kieth Olberman, the Obama campaign. I haven't seen it and no one has posted it.

If we weren't at war I don't know that your sitting out the election would be that big a deal, but the war in Iraq was started by lies and the party that started it has to be punished. This isn't about Roe, it's about lives. "Statement" gestures in 2000 put president dumbass in office today and look what happened. I don't want to see that again. People are dying because a bunch of stoners wanted pot legalized and didn't like Bill Gates. This kind of childish politics has to end now. It's not about you.

  • I expect those buttons to sell out.

Seriously. This is the true face of the GOP. We all know how they REALLY won the south and now those chickens are not only coming home to roost, they are coming home to vote for McCain. The Obama camp needs to make this an issue, including the buttons and where they will be sold. If only the MSM would do it's job and actually tell people about this so they don't have to find out from a cartoon.

  • So you really do feel entitiled...

"If McCain wins and women lose their right to choose and are sent back to the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant, young women will have to fight the fights we already fought for them years ago. Then, when they themselves try to run for office and are disrespected and insulted, they'll understand."

So becuase you all won Roe, the younger generation has an obligation to vote for the woman just because she is a woman or because the older generation said to? Interesting. So the idea that feminism is about women making their own choices is all a lie. They somehow owe you something and you called in that favor with Hillary. When we say that Hillary and her supporters felt entitled, this attitude is exactly what we were talking about.

BTW: To all the right wing trolls pretending to be "30 year democrats", did you really think we wouldn't catch you? We are the party of intellectuals after all. Just ask your masters on the radio. We figured out the Iraq war was based on a lie simply by looking at which organization the members of the administration belonged to so clearly we aren't complete idiots.

  • Yes! Exactly!

"The idea that Clinton's presidential campaign is somehow an allegory for every passed-over promotion, every misogynistic boardroom comment, every encounter with a chauvinistic HR manager, is just not tenable. This is not workplace politics or domestic abuse."

This, more then anything else, looks to me like the real reason behind the rage. One poster even went so far as to say that younger women somehow owe it to the older generation to vote for Hillary out of gratitude for all the hard work they had to do for the cause of women.

And truth-machine, the RADICAL guy is, in all likelyhood, a republican troll. If you look at most of these defenders this is their first time posting. One of them even tried to throw up the flag pin nonsense as a legitimate reason not to vote for Obama. One would think that if you are going to pretend to be democrat, you would at least use issues democrats actually care about.
