Glenn Greenwald is one of the last authentic journalists standing in America. It is a disgrace that the mainstream media (and ABC News especially) haven't been aggressively investigating all of the questions that Greenwald has raised, and many more. With regard to Jean Carol Duley: given the gravity of the case and the seriousness of her charges, it is important that we know everything about her that bears on her credibility. Ivins' coworkers appear to be much more credible than Duley in getting a handle on Ivins. It is difficult to imagine a less credible source than Duley.

Didn't AJ Weberman play a key role in selling the FBI on the notion that Stephen Hatfill was responsible for the 9/11 anthrax attacks? Isn't the FBI now paying Hatfill nearly $6 million as a result of this false accusation?

Let's imagine a worst-case scenario, the kind that would instantly occur to the mind of a Robert Ludlum: Bruce Ivins was smeared, framed and murdered (suicided) by the real perps behind the 9/11 anthrax attacks, in an effort to shut down any investigation which might lead back to them. I'm not there yet, but I am paying very close attention to how this bizarre story unfolds.

I especially want to know the identities of those had advance knowledge of the attacks and who issued warnings to Richard Cohen at the Washington Post and Dick Cheney. Why aren't the MSM pursuing this extremely important story?

It comes as no surprise that one of the best minds in (and off) the blogosphere, Glenn Greenwald, has attracted an intelligent audience. In any case, much thanks to the other posters here who have provided me with some of the best insights and leads on the 9/11 anthrax attacks controversy that I have read anywhere. Absolutely invaluable. Most of the discussion in the mainstream media has been twaddle. My only complaint is that Salon's forum software is rather weak.

The mainstream media have blared the names of Stephen Hatfill and Bruce Ivins to the world, but have uttered not a word about Philip Zack and the Camel Club (with the exception of the Hartford Courant), even though Zack possessed motive, means and opportunity to do the deed. Zack has a proven history of trying to frame Arabs and Muslims for the attacks, and it is perfectly believeable that he would have written two notes which read: THIS IS NEXT / TAKE PENACILIN NOW / DEATH TO AMERICA / DEATH TO ISRAEL / ALLAH IS GREAT [AND] YOU CAN NOT STOP US. / WE HAVE THIS ANTHRAX. / YOU DIE NOW. / ARE YOU AFRAID? / DEATH TO AMERICA. / DEATH TO ISRAEL. / ALLAH IS GREAT.

So what the hell is going on? This case screams of a cover-up. What precisely is being covered up, I don't know, but we do know who most benefited from and exploited the 9/11 anthrax attacks -- that's a no-brainer.

One word: hogwash. We, and the mainstream media especially, have every right, not to mention an *obligation*, to assess the credentials and credibility of this "theripist" in comparison with the credentials and credibility of those professional colleagues of Ivins who knew him best. How do we know that she isn't lying or mentally unstable? Where is the reliable corroboration for her charges? The MSM have tried to promote Duley as a respected mental health professional. Is she?

Most maintream media journalists, like Judith Miller and David Willman, have little expert knowledge about most of the topics they report on. The Internet has made it possible for the best experts in any given field to give these mediocrities a serious spanking on a level playing field. In the world of Internet new media, traditional "journalists" may well have no place on the food chain. Intelligent consumers of news will be able to go directly to the best minds on the topics of the day, without a mediating dumbed-down filter designed to protect the interests of the handful of oligarchs who own the mainstream media. These "journalists" are running scared -- the Internet is eating their lunch.

Glenn posted some important *facts* about Duley -- not "crap" -- that are important in assessing her credibility and credentials as a mental health professional. Compared to the credentials of the real mental health professional who knew Ivins intimately at Fort Dietrich, Jean Carol Duley, the self-described "theripist," is a joke. The FBI is leaning on a very weak reed indeed in bolstering its so far nearly non-existent case, and it is essential to know that.
