Our own First Intern, ooops, make that First Dudess

Were you folks this upset when we lucky Americans were entitled to a fabulous deal called Two for the Price of One during the Clinton years?

Were you monitoring HRC as she got drifted in and out of the Oval Office handling emails and other documents and attempting to write policy changes that involved restructuring the economy-----all the while getting, or so she thought, on the job training for her own jab at the job.

Where was the outrage then?

Original article: Zombie feminists of the RNC

Liberal zombies

(Real pitbulls wouldn't be afraid of Meet the Press.)

Hmmmmmm------She's reluctant to meet with a press that has been looking for more ways to chew her up?

Like asking her some stupid question like, "And who is the assistant prime minister of Ratchatachistan, if you don't mind telling us?"

And how did I, a die-hard feminist, end up terrified at the idea of a woman in the White House?

Because you are a Left-wing hypocrite who doesn't really care whether a woman gets anywhere if she doesn't subscribe to your philosophies and theories.

You "feminists" are not feminists at all.

All you care about is your leftwing agenda and philosophies getting advanced-----

Original article: No home run for McCain

McCain's speech----

Was moving and mature---not a lot of razz-a-ma-tazz.

I liked it.

Original article: A pit bull in lipstick?

it's hard to know how her sarcasm and sneering played to the wider television audience.

We loved it!

After listening to that angry Keith whats-his-name over at MSNBC with the snarling, hateful, vicious stuff that he spews forth----this woman was a sweet lamb.

BTW> Peggy Noonan's column yesterday addressed the open mic and she explained what she meant when she said the words, "It's over." (She was NOT referring to McCain's campaign--go find it and read it for yourself).

If Noonan thinks Palin is a political BS ploy, then she has been part of the elite group long enough to get herself tainted. I remember when Peggy was a callow little Catholic girl who would have embraced someone like Sarah Palin---who is a breath of fresh air for the rest of us who are sick of the real BS we have to deal with every time we turn on the newsand listen to the utter hypocrisy of the Left.

I wonder why we never hear liberals complaining about the "conservative main stream media"? Maybe because it doesn't exist. If they get a chance to reactivate the Fairness Doctrine does that mean Keith et al will be forced to give air time to Rush et al?

I do not listen to any talk radio shows but I know Unfairness when I see it and the Fairness Doctrine is anything but fair.

emily's list

does emily's list---that bastion of liberal hypocrisy still exist?

I remember when it started up (circa the 1970's)and was ostensibly a means by which female contenders could be given financial help to enter the then 100% male dominated world of politics. I thought what a grand idea.

Until a CONSERVATIVE female candidate for public office sought a contribution from emily's list and suddenly, emily's list no longer supported FEMALE candidates for political office.

Only LIBERAL, LEFTWING, female candidates for political office.

That was when I started to get the picture of the galling hypocrisy of the Left. You hypocrites don't support women. You only support those who adhere to your particular philosophy.

A woman who is not of your "persuasion" need not apply.

As for Obama's credentials in the Real World, he has none. Zero. He has been on the public dole all his damn life.

I'd like to know who paid for all his extensive, expensive education. You better believe he didn't.

thank you, elephantman

---for your rebuttal to this drivel.

I scrolled through the posts hoping someone would make a point or two about the corruption amongst the hypocritical, self-righteous Left in DC and you did good.....you were succinct and to the point and I know the temptation to go on and on bulleting the greed and corruption amonst the hypocritical, self righteous Left must have been strenuous.

There are few sights more nauseating on CSPAN than the sight of the likes of Robert Byrd and Teddy Kennedy et al prattling away and spewing out their odious messages. There are some of us out here who are old enough to remember MaryJo Kopechne and do not think it is unseemly to remind folks now and then that Kennedy was responsible for her death by suffocation. You younger Salon readers probably never heard that story did you? Google MaryJo Kopechne.

BTW> Who IS this Thomas Frank? Do you mean to say that the WSJ has given him some space?
