Shame on you, Gary Kamiya and shame on you Salon for subjecting all of us to this fluff piece that singlehandedly sets feminism back. I am an avid Sarah Palin hater, a feminist, and do have a domme streakm myself, and I was appalled at this article. There is absolutely no reason with the laundry list of terrible stances that Palin presents, that this article focused on the libido of the general voters and the general appearance and demeanor of Palin. Besides, she is far more suited to the standard English governess than the leather maiden displayed in your picture.
I disagree completely. Although the season has been somewhat hit and miss, I thought the ender was brilliant. I have always believed the show is fashioned after a Greek tragedy and as such we are in the lull before the storm. I expect the ending season to show everyone going up in flames, for at its heart, this is a morality tale annd there is no way that these people will ever learn their lessons. In terms of Carmela, she's always been shallow and somewhat greedy, no surprise that she would be satisfied with Tony's correction of her spec house fiasco. And AJ is still just a boy pretending to be a man. There isn't a 20-something male out there who wouldn't be a "reliable" boyfriend, at least for a while, when promised the allure of sex with a hot older woman. But at heart, he is still a boy, as depicted in the scene with the hoodlums outside Blanca's house. I, for one, can't wait to see what happens next. And, I won't be upset if the next episodes also do not contain Meadow.
