I'm a 52 year old man. married since 1979, with one child born in 1981.
I thought the article was well-written and interesting. She seemed to be telling her own subjective truth about how giving birth affected her sex life.
It's hard to get a woman to tell the truth about most things, least of all sex, so I appreciate the chance to learn more about the human condition.
I agree with some who posted that these are troubled times. but one can not spend all one's time keeping up with the devolution of our country, it's too depressing.

I'm paying to read a retarded analysis of the significance of Brad Pitt?
Time to find another site to subscribe to, apparently.
This is one of the reasons the dems always lose, they follow their ideals rather than the principle "the end justifies the means".
Also. the intellectual liberal mind is naturally inclined to consider the other's point of view, (and acknowledge a good point) whereas the adversary considers debate, propaganda and politics as games to be WON (by any "legal" means neccessary) to further their own ideal of crushing the poor under their hooves.
Uncle Al
He is the unfortunate result of his father's errant release of precious bodily fluids.
To quote my friend Ebeneezer: "He should die and decrease the surplus population!"
"So why aren't any of the children of the architects of this war out there fighting this war?"
Well, I don't know if they support their parents views. If they do, and let the poor fight and die in Iraq, while they hold a "support the Troops" kegger, then they are nothing more than cowardly hypocrites.

"Is the average person so stupid that they can watch the Republican puppeteers pull these outrageous and outrageously obvious schemes, time and time again, and think that they are worth voting for?"
Duh?
Someone possibly the Rev. Ivan Stang, once said "You know how stupid the average person is? Just imagine, half of them are even more stupid that THAT!"

Tracy wrote: "The Newsweek cover story...latches on with a vampiric thirst to parents' worst fears and, as was probably the genesis of the piece, finds an excuse to talk about Britney's vagina once more."
What is your excuse Tracy?
I am a straight man who loves sex and finds Britney, Paris, and Linsay's vaginas yawn inducing. The only problem is that idiots in the media cover the antics of these subhumanoids.

Who cares what a bunch of brain-dead greedy liars have to say? What are they "debating"? THe best way to crush the poor people and make the Rich people Ultra-Rich?
I would rather have seen an actual review of "Oprah". I wouldn't have read it, but merely seeing the Oprah headline would not have been as annoying.

Don't Salons TV writers even know that Letterman and Leno are coming back with new shows tonight?
Do they think that only women subscirbe to salon? I am a male premium member and will probably not renew due to the blantant pro-feminist, "men do not exist" editorial slant.
I have never and will never watch some stupid reality show about women trying to become "Models".
And I don't feel fine.
I have watched in my 54 years the world go from 2 billion people to 6-7 billion and growing.
I have watched as people have become as in the title of a movie popular among the modern morons, "Dumb and Dumber".
My best friend in high school went to a local University to study Electrical Engineering, and in 1972 showed me a chart he made based on something he had learned called "Hubbert's Curve", showing that we would run out of oil in the near future.
Yet there has been almost zero public discusion or education about this subject in the subsequnt years. People prefer their blissful ignorance.
Very few read anything anymore. If they do it is probably one of the rags covering the latest exploits of some rich young celebrity slut (or stud).
Less that half even bother to vote, and most of them are idiots who vote for idiots.
Isn't it strange that we here are all aware of the coming oil crisis yet the news never covers it, the politicians seldom mention it, and america continues it fascination with "American Idol", Britney Spears, et. al?
When gas get to $10 a gallon in a few years, and a loaf of bread costs $10, and ordinary people cannot afford food, transportation and home heating, you will see massive rioting in the streets and the starving masses will be screaming for a scapegoat.
They may even invade YOUR sacred home to steal your food and gas.
I just wonder what sort of racial/ethnic group will get the blame, what moron will be elected then, and who will be nuked.
I can hardly wait to watch it on CNN! Hopefully George Carlin will still be alive to do color commentary!
