Yes, Joan, to everything you said.
What concerns me most about her is her extreme religious worldview. I really don't care how many kids she's managed to pop out or how pregnant her daughter is. I do want to know just how much she thinks she's God's avenger. We know after 8 years of GW where that will take us. Her speech was such an amazing blend of meanness and self righteousness that it made my skin crawl.
This is not about sexism. It's about the Republican Machine finding their new mouth piece, one who lies with seeming impunity and with God on her side. Indeed, God help us.
Sarah is the perfect mouth piece for the Republican Party. Mean spirited, pathological liar and utterly narcissistically encapsulated. She will be a willing puppet for the Republican Machine, and they are already pulling her strings. If they win, they maintain power and she gets what she wants: to usher in the Christian Right's own power over our country.
