Dude-
I guess you never got the memo. It's over. No more Operation Chaos for you, and your friends (you all know who you are).
Just take a nice break, relax, and wait for the RNC Bat-shit Phone to ring wiith new marching orders.

While I am happy to see Obama in the cat-bird seat, It's easy to lose sight of the nature of HRC's REAL supporters over all of the background noise, but it's clear to me that they are hurting right now, and rather than foolish grandstanding, I'd like to believe that HRC's delay was just an attempt to let everyone down easily. I'm sorry to see that. For all her tragic flaws, HRC is one tough, smart cookie, and I hope that she is appointed to a post where she can really kick some ass.
... because the GOP plants were the ones wielding the most swords in the first place. There are no shortage of such, even here at Salon. although they've been laughably transparent- they have no imagination, whatsoever- just the same lame warmed-over name-calling, insubstantial arguments, the works.
Progressive people, for the most part, don't act that way.
BTW- to the GOP Troll-plants, using the term "Democrat Party" blows your cover immediately. Proofread before posting, please.
Wow, who would ever have guessed that Republicans were the cause of hurricanes? I thought global warming from greenhouse gases caused them.
The only thing I didn't learn in this article is who had the keys to the lake of empty school buses?

Having read many of your prior posts, I know that you are sometimes capable of making highly intelligent, well-reasoned arguments to support your positions... however mis-guided and reality-deprived they may be.
So would you please:
1. Show us where in the article, any blame was placed on Republicans for causing the hurricane.
2. Explain to us what specific story points/ administrative actions, etc. you dispute, and back them up with some verifiable evidence.
I am disappointed that a man with your intelligence would consistently stoop to such lame invective and sarcasm in these pages.

How about some intangibles, here?
A prior respondent complained about the extra time to drive. Fair enough, but why not make the trip itself part of the experience?
Take a road trip- take your time. Plan to see some things along the way, but also take time for discovery by setting aside some drive-time on old US routes and local roads, instead of the Interstates.
Find a little town somwhere and meet some amazing people while you're having lunch. These will be people who, by and large, have to work for a living and love their children at least as much as you do. You might be surprised to learn just how many folks are way more on top of things than you might have given them credit for.
Go in with an open mind, and no 'tude. Look people in the eye, and treat them as equals when you talk to them. You might learn something, and have fun doing it. What say?
Happy Motoring!
