Original article: I Like to Watch

Looks Like Tony Soprano is Six Feet Under............... NARM!!!

So how's this alternate ending?:

Tony yelps NARM! and keels over. Then, as AJ drives west to LA in his new Prius (with Journey playing of course) we flash forward to see the final fate of all the still living characters.

Just a thought. ;)

Great art may provoke us to the point of violence, but our favorite TV shows shouldn't.

So does this mean a Television and Art are mutually exclusive?

Well........ that would explain Lucky Louie.....

I Liked the ending. I Thought Tony should probably die, but didn't want to see it.

Everyone gets the ending they want and no one does.

So there were 3 endings eh? Don't suppose that might be so that no one could leak the real ending do ya?

NARM!

Total Misread of this

Translation: Only a dirty, rotten, low-down scumbucket of a human being would approve this message. You're not a dirty, rotten, low-down scumbucket of a human being, are you John? Because this is the work of a dirty, rotten, low-down scumbucket of a human being and if you don't deny that you're a dirty, rotten, low-down scumbucket of human being, John, then we'll all know that you are, in fact a dirty, rotten, low-down scumbucket of a human being.

Or to reprhase it in a way those of us with Mothers might recognize.......someone was in the cookie jar last night.... that wouldn't be you, Johhny, would it? Because the Johnny I know would never disappoint me like that........

Stop Mocking the Fundamentalists - it can ONLY backfire.

As someone who grew up in the Assemblies of God (but now belong to a UCC church, I am fluent in both religious languages spoken in this campaign. Please understand that there are MILLIONS of Americans that find the positions Ms. Palin takes on the "End Times" completely sane. What's more, and this is critical, those who hold these positions are taught that the ridicule they suffer on account of them only proves that they are true. Sarah Palin may be a fraud, but for the time being, there are millions who see her "religous persecution" as proof that she is God's Chosen Candidate. Those of us who would like to see Barack Obama elected must stop this line of attack.

That said, there is one thing that jumps out at me.

What documentation is there that Sarah Palin was directly involved in trying to force the local hospital to stop offering abortion for those who made that choice? Sarah Palin wanted to force women to fly to Seattle for an Abortion. Say that out loud. Sarah Palin wanted to ensure that all women who were considering an abortion were offered counseling in regards to the option of Adoption. No, that's not it. Sarah Palin wanted to ban Partial Birth Abortion. No, that's not it either, although a reliably true statement. Seriously, I want to see this commercial! If it's true, and can be documented, then the news must be spread. Sarah Palin tried to eliminate the option of choice for all Alaskan Women. Oh, and a picture of her with a sign would be even better.

My one wish this year, is that all the children of the world would join hands and sing in peace.

And if I had two wishes this year.......

The End of the World

The poster who mentioned the relationship that the "one world currency" has to the religious right is dead on. But the allusion that it's just the extreme right wingers is a bit naive. There are millions of American Christians expecting the end of the world any day now. If you don't have these folks in your circle, then trust me - you have know idea just how many of them there are - and how absolutely sincere they are in their beliefs.

In this line of thinking, a one world currency is central to the end of the world. In fact, they absolutely believe that we will all be stamped with an identity number, either on our hand or forehead. This is the whole "mark of the beast/666" thing. The belief is that anyone who refuses this "mark" will not be allowed to purchase anything. Of course, a one world currency would need to be in effect (OMG! It's the EURO!) for this to work as would a one world government (OMG! It's the UN!).

If this paragraph doesn't have you nodding in recognition, then you simply don't know how central this set of beliefs are for millions and millions of Americans.
