[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hi
How come no mention of all those fans praying ? First time this team makes it to the WS and also the first WS in Texas. You think there would be some more joy in the air or was it just Fox ?

Forget TO. How about them TopCats ? and advice for Miller Lite
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Dear King
Please forget about TO. I am scared , because Gary Myers said today in the Daily News that the Jets should hire TO. If you keep talking about it , you are giving the Jets (no)Brain Trust Ideas.
Instead why are you not writing an indepth investigative article about Renee Thomas and Angela Keathley ?
What really went on there ?
Miller Lite are you listening? The twins are so passe. THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED BY RENEE THOMAS AND ANGELA KEATHLEY.
A Jets fan who loved those Miller Lite Twins

Carolina Panthers and NY Jets
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As a bitter Jets fan I am deeply disgruntled. Not only will our team suck while playing the Panthers but we DO NOT HAVE cheerleaders. At this point I will take hot cheerleaders even without the girl on girl action.
Why oh why do the Jets and the Giants have no cheerleaders ? Is it the authorities who own the Meadowland complex ? If that is the case why do the Nets have cheerleaders ?

NFL in LA
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Another downside to having a team in LA , is that now your local CBS/FOX affiliate will have to blackout good NFL games because of the horrendous blackout rules that govern NFL broadcasts. If you do not have Direct TV it is better not to have a NFL team in your city.

NFL Network
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]NFL TV airs a 90 min show called Point After starting at 12:00 am Monday, which shows highlights from every game and also parts of the post game conference which is also a pretty good way to catch up on all games.
It is ok , if you are not "privileged" enough to have Direct TV who have paid NFL an obscene amount of money to keep Sunday Ticket from being offered on cable.

Saints vs Jets
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]King
As a Jets fan, I respectfully disagree with you about the importance of this game in light of the Bush sweepstakes (has there ever been a bigger draft can't miss ?). This is the toughest game for us to lose (maybe Buffalo in week 17 also). GO SAINTS ! (and also 49ers,Houston)

NFL Draft
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hi Mr King
As a huge NYJets / NJ Nets fan, why don't we get some indepth coverage about the upocming NBA playoffs and the draft.
Who cares about baseball in April and the baseball stats books? I can point out to to a dozen web sites about cricket, the best being www.cricinfo.com who crunches numbers, and btw as to crunching numbers we (cricket guys) go way back, OK
So please, NHL and NBA for now,,, and lets save the baseball talk for September.

About Easterbrook
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I know no one will look at this but I needed to get my 2 cents in on this debate.
I love TMQ, in fact I introduced a lot of my friends to him. I have his football book, but on political issues I differ.
The main thing I don't like is his argument that Global warming is an unproven fact.
As I watch Australia being hit with 3!! , three CAT4-5 (Darwin really dodged a bullet) in the space of a month, I tend to question stuff. When has that last happened ?
As for football, he and footballoutsiders.com have a good point/counterpoint going.
I was one of the outraged fans when ESPN fired him and deleted the archives. We had to go to a blog to recover those articles. I still have them on HD.
Hopefully now that he is back on ESPN he will make more potshots at NFL for not offering digital cable a package to show all NFL games .

MLB is always the first to STF (shortchange the fans)
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]There is a history here. All ML sports Execs when they see others making money, think they deserve a piece of the pie.
They don't understand the fact that we love the sport so much that we do these fantasy leagues, because in these days of player movement, team movement, this is one of the ways we can root for a team ( which we own ).
Before , it was jerseys, cards , etc. now it is Fantasy Leagues. They don't understand the word fan ( look up the description in Wikipedia).

So the fans who go to watch the grapefruit and the cactus league are idiots ?
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Mr King
I am an NFL fan and sometimes preseason makes sense (especially for the short NFL season). I like to get into the mix of football and also figure out my team, by watching my team (NJ Jets) during preseason (you need to watch some of the games). So Sir, I am sure you find everything boring but come Dec/Jan when the second-string RB/DB does something spectacular, unlike you I won't be saying "Who is Dat?" and where did he come from .

Best Place for an NFL team to get a new free public stadium - Las Vegas
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Bill Simmons ( SportsGuy.Net ) of ESPN had this great suggestion. The best place that would make sense for a new stadium and team funded by a city would be Las Vegas.
1. The city would fall over backwards to finance and build a stadium for the NFL team ( given what they could do with tickets/stadium for their high rollers/events )
2. It would be the premier site to hold Super Bowls because it has the best infrastructure/entertainment to host one. IMHO they should hold all SuperBowls there.
Now the NFL would never touch that one even if hell freezes over because of gambling (even if NFL will not admit the fact that a large pct. of their ratings are driven by "it"), so do we give the NFL some credit for this one ?
BTW do you think that the other orgs NBA/NHL/MLB or even MLS would have the guts to make that move (put a team in LV) ?
