[Read the article: Some thoughts about West Virginia ]

I see a few complaining as to why does Obama have to win over those supporters in places like WV OR KY. that they 'should vote for him ' to prove they aren't racists....ect

yet when a white person is canvasing for public office they have to go out of their way to 'win' over the black vote if that person is running against someone who is black. So should Obama have to canvas. He would be a fool to disregard them.

And many times I've heard from black candidates , living here in Michigan , say the line ' hard working blacks.' I didn't see white people here take offense. But if a white person , like Hillary , claims 'hard working whites' it's not right ?

    that's hypocritcal.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This is a huge deal because it's more than about getting married.

sorry you're too flippant and self absorbed to see so. Maybe it's because your partner of many years doesn't want to marry you ? Just in case ? Divorce is a pain in the ass.

Sure some will rush off to marry just because they can - kids with a new toy thinking, but like in Mass. it will settle down to reality.

and marriage has it's benefits -- like it or not. benefits you can't have just living together no matter how much legal input you get.

Your reminding me of an old queen that has nothing better to do but complain . If it's raining you'd complain. Sunny ? complain. I have a grandmother like that.

  • huh ??

[Read the article: Ah, the mysterious female orgasm]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"This is going to be highly controversial, but

by all accounts, isn't it possible for rape victims to experience orgasm?

How does that fit in with these findings?"

rape is an act of violence. A woman prior to orgasm must be in the mood mentally or she will not. no, I would not think it possible to have an orgasm via rape since rape isn't enjoyable. ( now we are not talking about role play which with a partner is entirely different)

the fact or rather theory that a woman at time of a clitoral orgasm isn't thinking doesn't mean prior to that she isn't.

I can't say a woman isn't thinking of anything during clitoral orgasm. In my experience , being a lesbian and relating to partners ( in order to be a better lover one must ask and listen and know not all women respond the same and to think so is ignorant) 'women at the moment of clitoral orgasm' are very focused on 'what is going on' so much so even your hearing can be decreased.

the operative word is ' at the moment of orgasm' ( which can last a fairly long time , even as one is aware.)

so I wouldn't take this study to heart.

FYI - most women do not have orgasm other than clitoral. I wish more women knew that. So many think something is wrong with them when there isn't . most don't have orgasm with penetration alone.

and no one knows your body better than yourself.

at some of the pure idiocy of some comments ..... and some of the shameful ignorance in others concerning women and orgasm.

maybe it's true that Lesbians should teach sex ed about women to straight men and gay men should teach sex ed to straight women about men.

    couldn't hurt.

I'm not willing to vote for McCain as a democrat even though I wanted Clinton as the nominee.... but many are complaining about Clinton supporters going to McCain.

but I wonder how many here that are Obama supporters would have supported and voted for Clinton had she won ?

with as hateful as most Obama supporters seem to be it seems it would be a case of the pot calling the kettle black.. they would abandon the Clinton nomination.

  • hhhmmm

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

well --- some may remember way back. It was the Obama camp that began the whole smear campaign . But that aside ........

Does anyone believe McCain is going to play by the rules with Obama ? lol. of course not. At the very least I think Obama supporters should be thankful Clinton gave Obama a roughing up of the skin. It's only going to get worse from here on in.

I do agree with joylyn - now I don't put alot of stock in numbers but McCain is polling better than Obama overall where Clinton was beating him . seems that his PR is working for him. And with so many thick Clinton supporters willing to vote McCain only because of racist views ... Clinton on the ticket could be a way to rope alot of them in.

Although I don't see Clinton accepting nor Obama asking.

I think when it comes to November Clinton could wipe McCain up in debate. Obama doesn't seem to do as well. Hopefully he'll change his approach.

    have a problem reading ??

I said as a Clinton supporter I will support Obama if he got the nomination. I've always said that.

    hypocrite ?? how ??

read these boards and count the haters. pretty lopsided pro Obama. they have been for ages.

and yes over all in polls it has Clinton stronger than McCain and McCain stonger than Obama.

Right now - today in polls, Obama and McCain are about neck

    and neck.

Clinton was 49 to 43 at the end of last month. a bit better.

Keep up the smart talk and McCain's numbers will go up. not to mention that a good majority of Obama supporters are kids who just may lose interest come November since the infighting would be over.

your a perfect example of what is wrong .
