wow the stupidity of Government/military !
[Read the article: How about a presidential approval rating bomb?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I read this and was amazed ! How could such ignorance exist ?
A homosexual aphrodisiac ? I'm sure if any such thing for anyone gay or straight existed we'd know about it. We wouldn't need viagra.
This is akin to the bible thumpers that believe gays can change . ( about as much as they could)
Pure stupidity seems to run our Government lately. This latest group on the hill takes the cake. Stupidity and corruption go hand in hand for our latest .
If most are educated they realise science leans towards all sexuality being laid via the womb. I'm willing to bet they find the exact genetics within 10 years. Not to mention plenty of mammals are homosexual in nature .
What will the Christian right ( which is neither ) do when science proves being gay or lesbian is as natural as being straight ? They still try to say it's an illness although all educated people know otherwise.
That day is fast approaching to proving thier bigotry wrong. That the bible is wrong as well. That homosexuality is normal and part of Gods plan.
I surmise that thier reaction will be to open a museum to the contrary of science ,logical thought and proof.

the good the bad and the ugly
[Read the article: The MSM vs. the blogosphere]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]first and foremost I think reporters and writers need to stick to the facts uncolored by opinion or party. stop the spin.
secondly they need to ask the hard questions. I'm tired of the kiss ass Bush press core and the other side that beats a dead horse because it has nothing else to be angry about be it left or right.
Our media is indeed filtered one way or another.
the people need to know all the facts without any slant. Maybe if we had that there wouldn't be such a tug of war that distracts.
Opinion peices are fine as long as the facts hold and aren't just cherry picked to suit an agenda and as long as people remember that opinions are just like a**holes. everyone has one.

does the improbable
[Read the article: Remember when Iraq was a sovereign nation?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Bush has done what I thought I'd never see in my lifetime -
unite Iraq and Iran.

Saddam's worth
[Read the article: That explains everything]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]In the video Cheney says as to a question to the president on the subject " How many additional dead Americans is Saddam worth ?"
His answer is " not very many." the number he quotes is 146 killed.
We are now over 3700. I guess Cheney was a child left behind who failed at math . Obviously .

ohio polls
[Read the article: Killing her softly with his song]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If the Ohio polls are any example Clintons' 44% to Obamas' 15% says alot.
I think his consistant childish bashing , especially of one of his own party , is getting old and on alot of peoples nerves.
It reminds of the Swift boat vets . Lacking in honor and respect at the very least and being slimy at the worst.
He's become like a child throwing a tantrum. Edwards isn't far behind either , which is sad.

Long Live Bill !
[Read the article: Bill Maher: "Don't show me your tits!" ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As a woman I agree with him. He doesn't say to not breast feed in public , but you know your going to have too so prepare for it !!!!!!!!!!
that's what those small 2 foot square baby blankets are for !!
I think he's right when he says this is about spotlight , some womens sick need for attention and not about feeding your baby.
I have no problem with breast feeding in public - but use some brains when doing it. be sensitve to others around you.

wanna be high brow complaints
[Read the article: I Like to Watch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]what I find funny is all the high brow basic comments of the nature that tv is a waste basically are doing the same thing on the internet. I clicked on a couple of names to read volumes of negativity. Some people aren't happy unless thier complaining.
If this were a review on M theory they would find something to wretch about.
just a different colored horse.
wooohoooo I'm looking forward to The Bionic Woman. sure it's not Lindsy Wagner and I'm no longer 10 years old , but it's the bionic women we all really wanted to see !!
Although the original will be the best especially now that it's so camp.

???????? what ?????????
[Read the article: Stop your sobbing]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Did Rupert Murdock buy up Salon lately ? Or has Bushco been paying reporters again?
The ignorance stench is unbecoming.

A Logical point
[Read the article: The gloves come off on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"And the answer is, as soon as we can. Because the problem is we don't know what we're going to inherit from the Bush-Cheney administration. As soon as I get there, I will call my secretary of defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, my security advisors, and we will immediately set in motion a plan to bring our troops home. I think it's important that we recognize there are no good solutions here."
And her words are a logical sensible point. To say they could be home in x amount of time is presumptious. Making uneducated guesses aren't what we need presidents to do.
Clinton with alot of others voted to back the president at his word 'as a last resort' working with the UN. Bush didn't do that.
Obama may not have voted for the war but he voted to fund it. Seems he keeps forgetting that little peice. Akin to didn't fire the gun , just paid for it.
Edwards just seems pathetic in his apology no matter how guilty he may feel now. He didn't apologize in 2004. He only came to this end in his run for president.
Clintons' answer may not be the one you want to hear but it is the most honest of the 3.

spin and beat
[Read the article: Limbaugh's latest: Let's bully journalists!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Rush is just afraid his MO of lack of facts and reality is going to bite him in the fat ass big time.
Someone hand him some more Oxy before he breaks down and keep him busy behind the desk with more Viagra. Cause spin and beat is all he seems to know.

no clue
[Read the article: Female genital mutilation is like losing a limb?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]--Anonymous

Has no clue what more than likely he is talking about. FGM would be akin in most cases to at the very least cutting the penis head off. not just the foreskin.
not to mention a clitoris ( which in majority of cases is cut off) is 2 to 4 times more sensitive than a penis.
