had to laugh !

" The only person remotely associated with the Palins who holds any interest for me is the former soon-to-be son-in-law, Levi, and even that is purely prurient.

I do believe, however, that Sarah may have a future career in a John Waters movie. "

--------------------

I have to agree with both these statements !!

things I think of when I hear her name ..

Pet Rocks. Cabbage Patch Dolls , Disco , people who believe the earth was created in 6 days and man rode dinosaurs. you know .. crack pots.

Sarah Palin is the older version of Paris Hilton.

Headlines until something else takes their place . we seem easily amused.

Original article: Michelle Obama, single mom

Mrs. Michelle Obama has class.

she has class and that upsets some on the right as shown by letters.

She even got a closeness out of the Queen of England no other Presidents ' wife has gotten.

nor has she shown to be as clueless , snobby and classless as Barbara Bush !! remember ....

Former First Lady Barbara Bush said of the war in Iraq: "Why should we hear about body bags and deaths? It's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?"

Barbara Bush: Things Working Out "Very Well" for Poor Evacuees from New Orleans NEW YORK Accompanying her husband, former President George H.W.Bush, on a tour of hurricane relief centers in Houston, Barbara Bush said today, referring to the poor who had lost everything back home and evacuated, "This is working very well for them."

The former First Lady's remarks were aired this evening on National Public Radio's "Marketplace" program.

Then she added: "What I’m hearing is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality.

"And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this--this is working very well for them."

just 2 examples .

yep. real classy !

she's not a drug addict or alcoholic or like Reagan's wife depend on astrology and tell her husband to run the country by it. !!

Jaazee

regarding republicans . I think you can appreciate this ...

Ronald Reagan understood that the far right wing doesn't always want to be satisfied. He understood that he could give them some things, but not everything. They don't want to be satisfied. They want to raise money on their discontent."

- Ken Duberstein, Former Ronald Reagan Chief of Staff

Joe can thank

Joe can thank the job the Health care industry is going to give him next time around. I think he blew his seat in politics. Bet they pay him a pretty penny too. wanker.

I agree Jaazee

Hillary in 2012 ! While I voted for Obama I backed Hillary till she stepped out.

Seems like she's the only one working now with any real results. Not caving and with a pair of big brass ones.

It's TEA BAGGERS not Tea Partiers.

and the name fits the disgusting act.

It's what the GOP , the cons have been doing to this country for years. From Phil Gramm and deregulation to the con congress ignoring it till the crap hit the fan .. which they still were against as made obvious in Obama's speech to congress when they sat in their seats and whined when everyone else applauded regulation......to Bushs' like of a war in Iraq and his f*ck up in the middle east , backing and trying to hide the illegality of wiretaps , torture and paying off journalists and ex porn stars who pose as them.

yep .. they love teabagging each other and the nation.

hhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm

Has anything been done to prevent this from happening again?

It was caused by obviously more than Glass-Steagall being repealed, but has any real legislation been passed to prevent this from happening? Or just a lot of people passing the buck?

-- Nathan Coker

hey Nathan.. I do know Obama gave a speech about it ( in front of congress remember ? bringing back regulation and transparency for banking ? Dems loved it , stood and cheered. Cons ? hated it. not one stood up. )

what has he done ? that's just getting started but so far Cons and banks aren't too worried . thinking Obama is all bark and no bite. so far that's all he has been. sadly.

Thursday, October 29, 2009 05:06 PM

You go Levi !!

I hope young Levi makes a pretty penny off the wicked witch of the north !!

Thursday, October 29, 2009 04:59 PM

let's be honest.

Fox news always was crap.

it should have been slammed long ago ! long before Obama. It spent 8 years kissing Bushs' rear and ignoring his disasters. The reason we are in the boat we are in today !

So to those whiners out there about the WH bitch slapping down Fox ? maybe they need a good smack as well.

@Trainman

"Why don't you do your part and refuse to accept Social Security, Medicare, etc. when you reach eligible age?

Live what you preach."

excellent idea !! next time I hear someone bellyache about those I'll say the same ! lol. they can refuse SS and Medicare and save the government a ton of cash. That would be great if the naysayers do that !

but you know how they are whining crying hypocrites !

Original article: "30 Rock" strikes back

30 Rock ..... well , rocks !

as for the ratings ?

Mash took a few seasons to blast off .. as did Seinfeld .

Unless this country has been totally dumbed down from the Bush era ........
