...would be no...Obama is comfortable with bigoted gospel singers who promote homophobia...Huckabee wants to incarcerate those who have HIV...both are using religion to promote a hateful agenda.
Say buh bye to those annoying Beantowners for good...kick some ass, Big Blue!
I am going to post about Oprah from other thread focusing on her endorsement of Obama...So Miss Money Bags is upset that people are calling her a traitor? TOO F@%&in bad...here she is, trading in on women's problems, day in day out and she off and chooses a MAN...sounds like being a traitor to me. Oprah's judgement has been seriously suspect of late...here is another example of its poor quality.
Many of us sounded the alarums about Mukasey...he is but one more toady for Bush, and has behaved not much better than Bush's previous flunky AG, Gonezo...
ANONYMOUS BURBLED:
How about an article on Clinton's mom's racial characteristics for a change? I hear she was a WHITE woman.
It might be hard, but don't hide behind ANONYMOUS if you are going to spout such bullshit.
Obama's ancestry IS news because there have not been any other candidates who have reached the level he has of African American or mixed ancestry...that's the way it is...you don't like the scrutiny? TOO BAD.
His Mother isn't running for office, either!
..for the very crazed Obamabots...but this news is just one fly in the ointment for them...and another one to come: Florida's delegates will be Hillary's as are Michigan's...the super delegates will not be listening to "whackos for change":
Michigan Democrats allocate delegates to Clinton, Uncommitted

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton will get the lion's share of Michigan's Democratic national convention delegates after winning the state's Jan. 15 presidential primary.
Clinton will get 73 pledged delegates after winning 55 percent of the statewide vote, the Michigan Democratic Party said Friday in a release.
Another 55 delegates will be officially uncommitted to any candidate since 40 percent of the Democratic voters chose uncommitted on the ballot. Because Barack Obama and John Edwards had taken their names off the ballot, many of their supporters voted for uncommitted in the hopes of winning some delegates to the national convention.
These hopes are all but out the window...no matter what happens now, if Hillary wins in Ohio and Texas, Obama will be left in the dust...all the minor states he has won won't mean a thing if she continues to win the largest states...
Could Karl Rove be behind all this success for Obama? I have my suspicions...why are his percentage totals lately always in the 60s???
Obama supporters cried foul against Hillary in NH...her supporters remained mum...now it's time for them to demand some investigation.
Interesting how Obama's zealots were quick to bitch when their man was down...now they aren't whining...are Hillary's people whining?
I suspect that if Hillary loses in Texas, Pennsylvania and Ohio she will bow out...not with arrogant chest thumping, but with grace...I suspect it would not be that way if it was Obama...be warned, people: too many drank the Kool Aid with Bush...are you willing to subject yourself to another boastful man?
Funny how the left, and by extension, Obamabots, liked Krugman when he slammed Bush, but now that he is pointing out the unnatural zeal of Obama's fans, he is getting slammed in turn. As a witness to rude and unruly Obama campaign workers at the PATH station in Jersey City, NJ, I can personally attest to Krugman's observation...
...but some Americans, no matter how he denies it, are deeply distrustful of him, with a middle name like Hussein...not something many Americans are the least bit comfortable with...it may be prejudiced and narrow minded, but not going to go away...sorry!
I realize you are a writer, Mr. Shapiro, and writers like to see symbolism in things, even where they are a stretch...this is a stretch...a huge one...nice try!
But he does have the ability to bring out the vote and will defeat McCain in the general elections. Hillary does not have a donkey's chance in hell to confront McCain even as she is now against the war in Iraq that she voted for and make it happen.
The same thing was said about Howard Dean when he fired up the base with a novel (for the time) campaign of raising cash on the Net...how did that work out for him? Newly registered voters historically do NOT go from primary to general election in large numbers...a large number of young voters fired up in 2004 never made it out to vote in the general after professing they would in primaries...so Obama's ability to BRING OUT THE BASE is not a clear foretelling of what will happen in November...in other words, this is sheer wish fulfillment, not based on factual evidence from years previous.
BTW: Who's to say that the Republicans won't manage to get their base energized over an issue like they did with gay marriage in 2004? There are alot of factors in play before the general...until Obama has actually secured the nomination, I think it is best for all to stop the ridiculous speculation and counting chickens before they have hatched...a hazard the Dems have done before, with deep disappointment being the result...not being a pessimist...just simple reality...something in short supply for some Obama lovers.
