Bush is trying to scare people the way he did about Iraq before we went in...shameful, repulsive, and outrageous, but not surprising...the media have been of no help, fanning endless BS about this whole financial debacle. Shut up about this bullsh-t and get something done...I don't care what happens to Goldman, I don't care about Lehman or any of the investment houses...I DO CARE what happens to the average Joe and Jane on Main Street.
Economic 9/11 or just a rough patch?
...is the strategy, but whether it will backfire, time will tell...no one wants to hear Obama equivocate and obfuscate as he is wont to do, but obviously Mack is scared.
Obama's minions continue to hoodwink the public into thinking that they rely on the little contributors when it turns out that slimeball Wall Streeters. trial lawyers and scummy Chicago trash like Rezco are his source for cash, as well as fraudalent donors:

Take a deep breath, Glenn...you are going off the deep end...the Dems clearly share in the blame for the financial fiasco we are in...this is NOT a one-party debacle...
Obama's alliances will do him in on his own...he needs no assistance.
Sadly, the mainstream media long ago usurped its duty to ever offer any substantive analysis and vetting of Obama's record or past involvement with questionable and dubious people...the fact that McCain and Palin have to bring up Ayers is not their problem, but the media's and Obama's.
Still, I felt sorry for you on Larry King last night, Joan. That Repub hack who called you "lady" was a real jerk, and I turned it off after he started ranting at you.
No one condones some of the rabid comments that some of McCain's supporters have been saying, yet on blogs and even on comedy shows, McCain and Palin are subject to endless ridicule, insinuations that one is too old, may die from his melanoma in office, is not an honorable veteran, should spend her time at home with her special needs child while also being more or less a whore...why is it that sliming Obama is off limits yet the equally contemptible attacks on McCain/Palin are ignored or encouraged on late night TV? I do not support McCain, but I find it deeply disingenuous of people to point fingers when the sliming has been coming from both sides non-stop...we went through this in primaries with Hillary and Obama, and now it continues.
...I usually enjoy your work, but if she has done anything as heinous as you claim she has, then let the Alaska courts deal with her, not you and the punditry.
I do not get the liberal media's obsession with this woman...why the endless digging for dirt, trying to find every tidbit of evidence to point out what a bad mother she is (strange for people who claim to care about women), what a bad Governor is, what a wolf-murderer she is...it seems that there is an inordinate desire to reduce her to a stereotype, to a caricature...when the right wing attempts to do this to Obama, it is met with vitriol and outlandish and patently false claims of racism, meant to shut down any kind of criticism of him whatsoever.
This obsession with Palin resembles the crazed response Hillary got for having the temerity to dare question Obama's credentials...what is it with the left that they seem to want to vilify a woman who doesn't fit the orthodoxy of the way a woman is suppose to behave: be pro-choice, hate guns, hate the war, etc., etc. Unfortunately for the many on the left, some women refuse to be pigeon holed, as do blacks or gays, to regurgitate the talking points the left feeds them. Stray from them, and you are self-hating, or worse. Any true progressive would recognize that one should be free to express oneself and not be judged for those views, a lesson that has been sorely lost on so many this year.
The city from which Obama comes is famous for election flimflammery, and one cannot overlook the irony of the situation at hand...I don't care who's doing it: ACORN or Karl Rove...it's all wrong, and I also do not wish to hear lamebrain, half-witted excuses for what ACORN is doing...if ACORN is so blameless, then why have 11 people been arrested in connection with this incident so far? A mountain out of a molehill? Smearing? I think not...if Mickey Mouse can enroll as a voter, then we also know that both sides are playing games with the election, and Obama's expression of shock and casting blame instead on Repubs is classic projection...
The stakes are extraordinarily high this election, and both sides are more than anxious to take or hold on to power...the voters may very well be pleased with the possibility of a young, dynamic man running the nation, or they may not like the idea of turning more power over to a party that has accomplished little in its 2 years in control of the Congress, and whose aimless and toothless reign has also caused voters to give the House that Nancy and Harry run worse ratings than
Hoover, I mean Bush...
Now we get another rehash of Clinton's melodrama...YAWN!
However, it is deeply ironic, and sad, that in the very district where Mark Foley was Congressman a Dem promising morality in office is caught literally with his pants down.
Is there something in the water in that Florida district that makes men of any sexual persuasion in politics become a lech?
