...about nothing...Gary Kamiya's column handles it wisely...one thing Obama's "super fans", as Naomi Klein aptly and overpolitely calls them, need to learn is that Obama or his minions cannot, will not, and shall not, dictate what will be said or written about him...as long as the first amendment hasn't been eviscerated, there will be things put out there that will anger, upset, and disturb the very fragile and way oversensitive feelings of some of his strident and slightly nutty supporters.
Incidently, I will send a letter to Reminick calling him just what I've wrote above.
No reason to hide.

I am sorry for you and the rest of his "super fans" who feel that the man cannot be criticized by anyone, in any form...you people have become irrational in your lunacy.
...to Obama on the lobbyist scenario...the fact that Wall Street lawyers and ADM have all but funded his campaign...along with quite a few less than savory Chicago pols, means he has little ground to stand on in the righteous dept. Besides, the telecom vote by him is a permament mark against his already spotty Senate record (when he decides to take time out from his concert tour and show up to vote).
Glenn, important information, one that should be obvious...but I do find the fact that Iranians do not find Ahmadinejad a little off his rocker factoid a little puzzling...for fear of being thrown in jail, what else would they say? Kind of like asking the same question of Germans under Hitler, no? You really don't have much choice in the matter.
Superb analysis, Juan...the media and many of Obama's ardent fans are blinded by the circus of his tour, ignoring important details as you have pointed out...
There is nothing "trendy" about not accepting tenets that have led to wars, have fostered hatreds and hostilities where none have to be, all in the name of religion. There is nothing trendy about opposing those who inflict their warped views of women, sexuality or morality in general on others. Religion sprung from primitive cultures needing to understand the world that seemed puzzling, thrilling or frightening to them...those days have long since past, as have those of any of the traditional religions...religion has always been a crux, but in a modern world, it has become an albatross from which the world needs to escape.
...but never going to stop people from talking on the phone.
welcomerain is right, we have one more excuse for lawmakers to tell us what to do and when to do it...here in NY area, the astonishingly stupid Mayor Blommberg dictates what you can eat, where you can park. No, one should not talk on cell phone for idle chatter, but if you are trying to find your way to family, friend, or business, it is essential...yes, you can pull over, but that wouldn't work on an Interstate.
Not the people of Paris...not the people of Berlin...not the people of London...the people of Sandusky, Ohio, Little Rock, Fresno, Montpelier, Butte and Buffalo...let's keep that in mind when we tout these figures about foreigners loving Obama...it's very nice and very quaint, but they will not decide this election.
...if we paid as much attention to people who used their brains and not just their brawn.
Obamabots are littering the site with their cultism tonight...
The man has hit a ceiling...it's a fact...check this out from a Politico reader in response to how Obama's poll numbers have stalled...he just isn't getting the numbers among RELIABLE voters such as white men and women...:

Not Stalled Politico..........not stalled. Obama is DROPPING in the polls in virtually every state. But what is worse for Obama is that his negatives are climbing up into the mid to upper 40's which is a death sign. Meanwhile McCain's approval numbers continue to climb. WHY? It's all about "CHARACTER". Remember the great words the Lincoln Republican, Martin Luther King Jr, "judge me not on the color of my skin be on the content of my character". He was right and the American people are starting to do that now. For the Democrats and the Obama supporters it's always been about the color of Obama's skin, wrong! For Independents and Republicans and many Democrats it IS about "character". Obama has taken a position "on both sides" of every major issue today and the American people are watching this happen in front of their own eyes and a daily basis. It should be an easy victory on the night of November 4th especially if McCain picks Mitt Romney...................McCain / Romney 2008............the "real ones".
Bewitched was tres gay...and Lost In Space was also very gay...who didn't, as a child, realize that either Uncle Arthur (Paul Lynde) or Jonathan Harris (Dr. Smith) were somehow a little "different"? (but in a hilarious and fun way, of course!) I liked Wild, Wild West a lot, but didn't see it as particularly gay.
