  • Wonderful

[Read the article: Operation Iraq betrayal]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Sidney never fails...and this latest piece proves it...his portrayal of how dastardly Cheney really is unsurprising, but still how he presents it is fascinating...one more reason for swift impeachment.

  • HACK!

[Read the article: Joe Lieberman, from his indie perch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Dems have cowtowed out of fear of this miserable, two faced bum. He is as loony as McCain, and more dangerous...just a complete shill for AIPAC...what a jerk!

  • Brilliant

[Read the article: The three stooges]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Sidney once again offers an indispensable analysis of the criminals running the government...his review of how Cheney has assumed powers not within the purview of his authority is fascinating...

  • So What--Defeatism at Its Most Dangerous!

[Read the article: The three stooges]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    So what?

Not to sound cynical, but so what? I'm not doubting all of the claims in this article are true, but if congress isn't going to do anything about it what good is it to point it out?

The neocons call those who oppose the war defeatists, which, of course, is wrong, but your comment defines defeatism in its most pernicious form. If the founding fathers had taken this attitude about the Brits, we still would be under their sway!

    Stop whining!

  • A Soul Sold

[Read the article: Will the real Colin Powell stand up?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Colin permanently ruined his reputation the day he sat there and lied through his ass about WMD. From then on, he had none of the honor and dignity that had been given him by people across the political spectrum.

  • A troll on patrol

[Read the article: Will the real Colin Powell stand up?]

If Salon wants to make a case for or against policy, why not rely on some facts? . . . instead of conspiracy theories created out of whole cloth, tailord for raving Bush haters.

    -- NotOrbitBoy

It seems no matter where you go, there are the right wing talking point police, treading water as their ideology, the man they ass kiss for, go down in flames...

Conspiracy theories, eh? Dream on, TROLL!

  • Obama Bombs

[Read the article: What you missed while watching "Dirty Jobs"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Hillary has knocked him out in every debate...the stupid people in the audience who booed her show how dumb some of his supporters are...I give him a few more weeks before he becomes irrelevant...Clinton is widening her lead as Dems realize they don't want another foreign policy amateur in the White House. Obama vastly underestimates Hillary's abilities to demolish her opponents...she wiped the floor with Rick Lazio in NY when she ran for NY...Obama's been slapped around plenty already...wait until Rove gets a hold of him if he should somehow (HA!) get nomination. He will make mincemeat of him...Hillary has been there with the right wing hate machine...she is the only candidate who will neutralize them. Obama doesn't stand a chance. So remember those who booed Hillary...your man will be but a memory soon...people will say, "OBAMA WHO????".

  • If they boo...

[Read the article: Cheerful boos for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I think the bloggers booing Hillary and Dennis vastly boosts their campaigns...for these senseless gasbags to get on their high horse makes them look stupid...not Hillary or Dennis...

Seems Dem potential voters in polling just don't buy Obama, and Hillary, booed or not, is widening her lead...so much for the influence of the liberal blogosphere.

  • Bravo, Joe

[Read the article: If you think they hate us now]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It is all too easy for fools to perpetuate hate mongering in all its worst forms. Giuliani and Romney are two prime examples. Can our reputation be enhanced by demonizing of illegal aliens by some of the Republican candidates, who love to point out how many illegals are drug traffickers or homicidal maniacs? The level of lunacy on the right side of the aisle grows ever wilder.

  • Arrogant...

[Read the article: The poisonous rhetorical legacy of Karl Rove]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Karl Rove is a pervy pig...Chris did a good job of trying to get Rove to talk, but the Turd was combative, hostile and nasty as we would expect from a slimeball extraordinaire...

  • Problems with telling the truth

[Read the article: After 9/11, Rudy wasn't a rescue worker -- he was a Yankee]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Like so many of his compatriots in his party, Rudy just finds it all but impossible to tell the truth...sure, he can love his Yankees, no problem, but just don't say you spent more time at Ground Zero than the workers who cleaned up site...you will be called out on such a whopper, and Rudy has.

  • Unbelievable Cynicism

[Read the article: Ari Fleischer's misleading message]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Ari Fleischer, who covered his ass in the Valerie Plame scandal, is now playing politics with war veterans in the most disgusting example of exploitive advertising yet by the neocon liars who hate our fighting men and women.

Fleischer had the balls to say that not fighting terrorists "over there" is like us fighting only Japan in WWII...EARTH TO ARI: WE WERE ATTACKED by Germany in the Second World War...IRAQ never attacked us on 9/11...SAUDIS did...he told Mike Barnacle on Hardball that saying that is soooo 2002...Ari, the facts haven't changed, whether it is 2001 or 2007... Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11, and to tie it in is a baldfaced lie!

  • Corrupt Express Leaves The Station

    [Read the article: Fantasy island]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Even though Turd Blossom has exited, his combative remarks to Fox News' Chris Matthews indicate he feels he has nothing to apologize for, nothing to offer as a supplicant for his horrendoous destruction of civil political discourse. Karl doesn't do hubris.

  • The knew Repub Mantra: I Take It Back!

[Read the article: The return of Larry Craig?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Ah, the Repubs at their finest: "wait a second! I INTENDED to resign...I INTENDED to plead innocent!" It is all laughably crazy that a man who pled guilty in court now feels he has to resurrect himself...does anybody forget that Dubyah has called Craig a "goddamn traitor" for not supporting warrantless wiretaps, because he (Craig) claims he is a Bob Barr Republican who doesn't believe in government intruding into one's private life...that certainly is convenient, if you have been leading a double life, trolling men's rooms. Anyway, could this push to oust Craig be payback for not backing wiretaps by Bushies? As Joan Walsh says this is getting fun, and the black and white of last week is now adopting many shades of grey. I love that Craig was shameless enough to enlist his children in his resurrection campaign, and that they were willing to participate in such a sham. Who else are they going to support? I mean, gimme a break!
