Is this Deja Vu?

Didn't we hear this about Pennsylvania?

The pundits want to write Hillary off at every turn, Obama supporters tout the mindless talking points that go nowhere...the speculating needs to stop, and let things take their course...

A Wise Texas Yellow Rose...

Thanks Proud Texas Girl:

I challenge all good Americans, white, black, and every color inbetween, to THINK, READ, and WAKE UP. Color may be a trick, so vote with your heart and mind instead of your eyes. Maya Angelou, Oprah's mentor, is backing Hillary Clinton and in addition to knowing why the caged bird cries she also knows who would be the best President. HILLARY 2008!

As I pointed out in my own post, Schaller gives way too much weight to black vote...Obama allied himself with a man who is NOT the reflection of where black Americans should be going with their view of America, and he knew this, but took way too long to acknowledge it...will he take too long to acknowledge some trickery by one of our enemies when he is President, a delay that could be far more costly than a friendship of a wayward and confused ex-pastor? It is sad to see the black community relying on men like Al Sharpton or the shameful Louis Farrakhan to advance their interests and concerns. Is Obama more comfortable with these flame throwers or on people like Bill Cosby who are tired of seeing his brothers and sisters destroying themselves on bling, drugs, and debilitating and demeaning music genres?

Overcounting

Giving the black vote way too much credit for their impact on campaign...there are many minorities in this country, and it seems that the black vote is trotted out as the only one that matters in the long run in your poorly argued piece. NOTHING could be further from the truth. You forget that the black vote constitutes a mere 12% of the electorate at best, with Latinos, by far a Hillary strong suit that she won by margins as impressive as Obama's with blacks, make up a bigger percentage of the electorate now...you also leave out the majority voting bloc here: women, who time and again, gave Hillary victories when the press and the Obama shilling brigades were ready to count her out. We hear over and over how blacks will stay home if Hillary is nominee...there are enough voting blocs that constitute more than enough votes to make up for such an unwise move, since there may be such a scenario come convention time if Hillary plays her trump card and successfully rams in Michigan and Florida delegate totals, pushing her over Obama's count. Pissing off women voters will have a far worse consequence than thwarting the will of young male voters, an unreliable and fickle lot, and black voters. It's just a fact that the pundits refuse to wrestle with, for it makes it look as though blacks votes wouldn't matter in the overall scheme of things.

Where they WILL matter is when Republicans introduce their tried and true methods of suppressing African American votes in the states that have the now legal Voter ID law, thanks to the Supreme Court...this could mean countless Obama backers getting their votes tossed summarily. Not to mention the other lovely techniques they have used before to intimidate minority voters in many states. Hillary's constituents of blue collar voters do not have as many chances of getting this shameful technique used on them...this fact should make any claims that the black vote dooms Hillary campaign as a false and specious premise that holds no weight or credibility.

The time has past

Obama's ability to capture blue collar voters has past him by...Wisconsin (like Iowa or say Minnesota), is a deeply atypical state, with a long tradition of maverick and progressive politics, which means it was tailor made for Obama's early message, before it became clear that the real Obama isn't the one he has packaged himself as...

Crashing Bore

The Obamabots who whine about him being rightly called on the carpet for having the crashingly bad judgement of attending a church where a certified nutjob infects his parishioners with insane theories and antiquated notions are growing ever more tiresome in their absurd arguments...and you take the cake...

If you want an adult analysis of the situation, try this, from BBC...especially intriguing is one woman from a Philly suburb who makes a very salient point about Obama...I leave it to those who listen to discover it...:

What I love is when Meredeith Vieira on Thurs.'s Today asks Michelle Obama about her reaction to Wright and she bobs and weaves and starts talking about how it detracts from talking about children...typical lawyer tactic...

Can't wait!

Finally, Downey finds a vehicle to restore his career in a stellar fashion. Looking forward to seeing it...sounds like a perfect fit for him.

Missing the point

As is true of so many who like to shill for Obama (and since, like him, you were a lawyer, it's a natural affinity we will excuse for now), you seem to forget how integrally the way Obama has handled this matter speaks volumes about his ability to be a successful leader...not knowing when you need to sever relations from someone who is toxic to your cause is a sure sign of bad leadership...George Bush has suffered the same problem with some of the people around him...we don't need a repeat of that disastrous leadership style. In addition, this speaks to Obama's poor judgement: the same poor judgement that has gotten him in the middle of dealing with nefarious and sneaky characters in the whole Rezco debacle which involves statewide corruption in Illinois...an issue that Obama apologists ignore and the mainstream media gives little attention to...yet Patrick Fitzgerald's indictments, if they arrive before the fall, could spell a quick and decisive end to Obama's ambitions for good...it is THAT bad for him.
