The Gipper
Ronald Reagan was a lot of things. He was above all a fraud. He was a coward, a war criminal, a hypocrite, a bigot, a crook, a rapist, a dim wit, a turncoat, a scab, a war monger, a liar and a traitor. He was all of these things.
There was not one God damn good thing about him.

You hit the nail on the head...my Mother, God bless her soul, despised the man...railed at him every time his wizended old puss came on TV. I love Bette Davis' wonderful assessment of him on Johnny Carson, emphasizing his name as "LITTLE Ronnie Reagan..." Bette was like that, could reduce you to nothing with one inflection, and RAYGUN certainly was a nothing.
OH BTW: Thanks to RAY GUN we have airline service that stinks and awful right wing talk radio and no equal time on TV anymore. This ass hat ruined airline and broadcast media...
Shapiro, you, along with the countless writers and jabberers on TV and radio, are completely clueless, since, thanks to a new Post/ABC poll, most Dems could care less what you and others say...a majority want her to stay in and a majority even want her as VP...so much for this assinine death talk.
Most Dems also don't buy the Obama camp talking point about her staying in would ruin the party...so take your nonsense and go home...
This must be making you guys completely nuts.

Evidently all the Dem voters beyond the ivory towers and the latte counters at Starbucks aren't nuts about it...they just reject the talking points spouted by Obamabots out of hand...they don't want Hillary gone, not by a long shot...and they even want Obama to pick her as VP, showing that they really don't give a damn what his supporters say or do.
But why would Hillary want to be on a sinking ship that is Obama? The man is a chimera, a case of smoke and mirrors...beyond the clever rhetoric and boring lectures, is a man who is very much what Reverend Wrong said he was: a politician, as calculating and craven as any of those out there, including the woman Obamabots love to hate, Hillary.
Beyond the Alice In Wonderland of his supporters, America sees a man that they still know way too little about, a man who says one thing, but really means another, whose toxic supporters claim to be for uniting the country, yet engage in the same old politics of divisiveness with snide ageist, sexist cant. America sees through the sludge he and his surrogates are spilling, far worse than anything Hillary has done.
I like your premise here, Joan...as I mentioned elsewhere, Dem voters clearly are not in tune with the death knell sounded by the talking points of TV pundits or people like Ted Kennedy, who obviously, like many Obama surrogates, have some issues to work through about Hillary and Bill. I always said the level of vitriol hurled at Hillary during the campaign and at Bill says way more about the people hurling than either Clinton.
I think Hillary has bigger fish to fry than to go down on the ship that will be sinking in the fall. Obama stands no chance of winning, sorry to say, and no matter what one may think of McCain, in a time of unease, people don't want change, they want someone to steady the rudder, and it seems the polls show that they feel McCain can do this better than Obama...if the economy should make any sign of getting better over the next few months, this also could be very bad news for Obama. Now I am no cheerleader for McCain, but I think that another hazard for Obama is that people still feel uncomfortable with his brand, and also that Republicans are sure to use Voter ID and other timeworn tomfoolery to cast Obama aside. They aren't going to give up the reins of power without a fierce struggle.
Walsh on Clinton is like Kristol on Iraq.
You just blew it on a massive scale. Now it's time to sit down and shut up. No rational person cares what you have to say, loser.

Funny, that's what Dem voters are saying to Obamabots like you...
Shut up
Calm down
Don't tell Hillary what to do
The party will not be ruined
Be patient
I know most Obamabots suffer from ADD, but it is maybe time to take the meds you should have been taking in the beginning of the campaign...the rest of the country really isn't interested in your bitching about Hillary anymore, nor do they care what any of you haters have to say. Obama isn't going anywhere anytime soon...especially the White House.
There is nothing lame about attacking those who are so sad that they do need to check in every five minutes. The world managed just fine when it didn't need to be so compulsive and needy, and nothing has changed to justify such obsessiveness.
I think Farhad was reacting more to an overworn cliche phrase than anything else-- its a very, very tired catch-all, and it IS commonly used to describe all thing instant email and IM- my Treo gets referred to as a you-know-what on a daily basis.
mc--nice try, but there can be no excuse for obsessive messaging...it shows a lack of communication skills with one's MOUTH...remember that???
There is NO need to IM anyone, anytime, nor there is there an essential need for e-mail...only time it is necessary would be in important work situations...otherwise it is a useless waste of time for people who have lousy people skills.
Well then ...

I like cuckcooberry myself...describes those who use that and an I Phone constantly to a tee...
