  • This "List" needs to be an annual event

Great list! And here I thought I had Alan Rickman all to myself! To the letter writers, I most definitely second David Strathairn and Peter Sarsgaard. And to this list I'd add musician/producer, Nick Lowe. Sigh, these men are the dreamiest!

  • Going there

Since Spotty Dog took the bold move to nominate Van Heflin posthumously, I'm going to follow suit and offer for your consideration Ed Bradley -- a sexy, elegant man. Though he's no longer the sexiest man living -- he certainly was a contender while he was here.

Yesterday at 7:30am when I read this article for the first time there were something like 43 letters. It's a day and half later and it's just shy of 300 letters. I'm fighting a nasty cold and this has been a perfect distraction. And let me add.... Peter Gabriel.

By far, my favorite new show this season -- the show that keeps on giving! When I can, I rewatch shows because there are always small details (treasures!) that I missed the first go'round. Give this show a chance!

  • Life is funny...

I wish you everything that is fulfilling -- whether that is traveling to the two remaining continents, and/or life as a loved and loving aunt. It's good to have a plan, but you never know what life has in store. I married at 44 and my husband and I just this evening completed our first home-study meeting as the next step in the adoption process.

I've traveled, started businesses... I figured marriage and family were not in the cards for me, but you just never know.

Again, I wish you everything that is fulfilling.
