You are absolutely right.
I used to get upset for the daily fix of anti-Clinton pseudo commentary here in Salon (proportional to my relief for having never subscribed to Salon Premium) but know I see it like it is.
Not all media as fallen in the racism trap. Some of it willingly distort both Clintons' records and preach the magical powers of Obama Potter, which as we all know, although some would never acknowledge it, belong to the realm of fantasy.
Maybe Alex, should bother himself with some real investigation and report on the mistreatment of campaign personal and operatives by Michelle Obama, which apparently reached epic proportions after the beatings received in Ohio, Texas and New Hampshire last Tuesday. But you all know what the unofficial, but very true, Obama campaign slogan is: DON'T THINK! JUST VOTE FOR OBAMAAAA.
There are very few anti-Obama posts that don't also make all sorts of disparaging remarks about his supporters, as if we're all a bunch of sexist idiots who blindly march in lockstep behind our empty suit Pied Piper.
Your words not mine . . . I wont dispute them though.
One of the most common accusations from the Obamaniacs against Hillary Clinton is that she is using "rovian" tactics against their chosen one (I can only wonder how loud Karl Rove must laugh every time he reads such nonsense) while in the same breath they call her every epithet the republicans have thrown at her and President Clinton for the last 18 years. Apt pupils indeed.
So I wonder, why you wonder? The only logical explanation is that you guys have completely suspended any type of critical thought on your candidate. Which is very interesting, since while critical thought on Obama is unused, on Hillary has been exhausted. She is still standing.
I'll have my next president in a pant suit, please.
Tony Rezko? Jeremiah Wright? Oprah?. . . at least the first two fall a couple of notches below Sinbad,I think, and certainly the whole imaginary 4 some is way behind Sheryl Crow in humanity and good sense.
Lets not lose perspective here Mr. Mark Benjamin. While Hillary was on her humanitarian trips to Bosnia and other places, like China and devastated places in Africa (more that any first lady, before or since ever did), what was Obama doing? Durgs? playing victim? destroying the reputation of his political foes? or maybe sealing deals with Tony Rezko?
What a little mock Fox News site Salon is turning out to be. Lets just say I am glad I never signed up for the "Premium" version.
Swiftboating much?
That is exactly the same kind of smearing that the Swiftboat Veterans for the Truth did to John Kerry? Good job hazmaq. I much rather believe in Hillary, the same way I did believe John Kerry 4 years ago.
20 years under the spiritual tutelage of Jeremiah Wright seem much more troublesome that a contradictory account of events . . .
The Swiftboat Veterans did show contemporaneous recollections of events too, and they also swore their veracity.
That is al the Obama campaign has been doing, Swiftboat Hillary while Obama plays the racial victim. A good strategy, but gladly one that is showing to have short and weak legs.
I obviously touched a sensitive chord here. The eloquence taste and class of hazmaq last comment (typical Obamaniac) and the insistence of snake lead be to believe so.
Now snake, how could I possibly show you a link for an independent confirmation of a lost and long gone incident in the rivers of South east Asia in the early 60s? I don't even care, that is why I wrote that the professional smearing group also known as Swiftboat Veterans for the Truth swore by the veracity of their account as these independent "verifiers" do.
As for Jeremiah, well Obama has been going to that church for 20 years, all his children have been baptized by the good ol' Jeremiah, Obama's last book is titled as one of Jeremiah most infamous speeches, Jeremiah was in one of Obama's committee until yesterday . . . but, oh not to worry, their relationship is purely spiritual. Well, I do not want the country in the hands of a man with such rotten spirit, God damn America would become a sad reality.
Rezko, Wright . . . you will be known for the company you keep.
. . . must be demoted in disgrace at once. What a poor showing of leadership. To think that this guy had a chance at the presidency.
Our delegates must be seated as they were elected.
1. We had a historic record turnout in Florida.
2. Hillary not only defeated Obama, but also McCain.
3. The election date wasn't picked by the local democrats, but by the Republican dominated local legislature, under threat of veto by the governor if any date compliant with the DNC rules was picked.
4. Obama violated his own pledge not to campaign in FL, with a blitz of TV ads in all major cable networks.
As a Floridian my pledge is that I would vote for McCain if Obama is elected without the delegates of my state. If he is elected with the delegates of my state seated as they are I will simply not vote. Hopefully, I will not have to face either scenario and vote for Hillary Clinton as the 44th president of the United States.
