I took your article from yesterday to heart. I was talking to a republican that works in my office (a Gulanie supporter) and asked him about Ron Paul. He told me he thought Ron Paul was kind of a nut. I asked him why. He admitted pretty quickly that he didn't really know why and that he didn't know any of Ron Paul policy positions. He said that from the coverage on the news of Ron Paul he just "got the feeling" he was nuts.
I just couldn't decide what to do.
Keep it up.
but Ross Perot was right about a couple of big issues, NAFTA and the national debt (I don't remember him talking about anything else). For some reason people still like to talk about him like he is crazy. Maybe he was, but he was also right.
to all these people if they cannot declare bankrupsy or payback their debt? If they simply stop paying, what recourse to the credit card companies have that they would actually use? Court fees are axpenive.
the press should keep an eye on but the last guy to come from this company acted in good faith, unless this guy does something wrong it doesn't seem like a problem.
that the best course of action for the next president would be to spend about a week in the whitehouse, then come out with a statement of just how bad everything is. Iraq, the economy, civil liberties etc. That way they can blame everything on Bush and effectivly start with a clean slate. During Vietnam one of the presidents did that (I cant remember who). If that happens a lot of things will come to light.
As opposed to congressional democrats who talk tough and capitulate on every major issue.
that Minnesota had a problem with human trafficing.
We did it during the cold war.
Do you mean Bill Clinton?
Acually I am not a Hillary fan, but I am impressed by the way she has been able to decrease the % of people that said they would not even consider voting for her. That seems hard to do.

You've latched on to these people and you're not letting go. Keep it up.
allows a celebrity to influence their vote? Really.
Is that a real name? It can't be.
the Libertarian party will be the ultimate beneficiary of this.
that had we not involved ourselfs in WWI there probably would not have been a WWII, and Hilter would probably never have come to power.
Germany may have won the war, but it is doubtful they would have ruled the continent. Even fi the did end up ruling Europe, so what.
what suposedly was wrong with this guys trial? What was "nefarious" (other than my spelling)?
thanks, for the info, it sound like a bizarre case.
That reminded me of one of tose Enzite commercials.
Walter, do you think people in a neighborhood watch program are vigilantes too?
These are mainly FHA loans.
Did Salon actually publish an article about the minutemen and not use the word vigilante?
You could make a lot of money betting against the team you are covering.
Oh No!!! That would give the states a chance to respond to federal power grabs. We wouldn't want that.
Everyone need to get out and vote for your democtatic members of congress so they can....uh....nevermind.
The war is opposed by most people in the country, and at the moment it is going relativly well. If the democrats want to win they should hang George Bush and the Iraq war around the neck the republican nominee like an albatros. If the war is the biggest issue in the election the republicans lose, so....it probably wont be.
When McCain get crushed in 08, the religious right can stand up and say something like, " ya saw what happened when we got ignored, so you better listen to us next time".
Your really out in front on this.
Why is there no reciprocation?
We have Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, were both created by the government. VA loans, FHA loans and regulations in every state. All of that represents a lack of involvment? Just out of curiosity how much more regulation you want to see?
such a terrible idea. If I move my money around should I be taxed on it?
Keep an eye on this. I can easily see a situation where someone in congress said "we can wait a month till everything queits down and slip this in as an ammendment somewhere".
My understanding (Andrew please correct me if I am wrong) is that the FED is not actually part of our government, instead it is a private orginization made up of privatly held banks, and they work for the government like any other contractor. The primary responsibility is to the share holders of those banks not us. The blame does not belong to the FED, it belong to policy makers and citizens who do not take the time to understand that.
will find the same situation with the FED.
That we are a nation of debtors, and if wages do end up riseing inflation can help us. If you owe money to someone and all of the sudden due to inflation your start making more money, it takes a smaller percentage of your wages to pay the debt back. Anything you have to buy in the future costs more but your debts are easier to manage. That assumes of course wages end up rising.
