roguering and tea-bagging

Funny stuff. Rogure is an old colonial term for "having sex", as in "Everyone thought Palin was going to rogure the Democrats good, but in the end, it was the Republicans who got rogured."

Fits with tea-bagging.

Racism? Misogyny? No, it's

uninformed, rambling speculation.

Shut yer fucking (your term) yaps Broadsheet until you have definitive information.

the swayzeman

Dancers everywhere loved Patrick Swayze.

His work in "Roadhouse" and "Point Break" was breathtaking.

In Point Break, there was a ridiculous skydiving scene where Johnny Utah dons a parachute for the first time and instantly does freefall relative work. I believe Patrick was an actual skydiver who played along with this gag.

A great guy, and a great example to follow.

Original article: Levi Johnston: Stud

what would happen if Bristol posed?

er, what would "fucking" happen as benfer asks.

Nothing. There is no double standard.

This article is full of stupid sour-grapes phony outrage.

Plenty of women have done the cheesecake thing and nobody called them sluts. You are out of your fucking mind Amy.

bs

The physical performance metrics for female soldiers are far below that for males. Men performing at the level of females would be eliminated. The very argument against female combat soldiers is written into the performance requirements.

If women were drafted into a conscript army in equal amounts and held to the same physical standards, statistically the burden of combat would fall on the men.

How can we educate young women on true eroticism?

This stuff is so flaccid compared to good ballroom or tango.

Original article: No more Mr. Nice Guy

yer missing R.Don's point about being "nice'

If you haven't read his books, you are guessing at what he means.

His point is that young women, especially attractive ones, are bombarded with "nice" come-ons from men. Furthermore, young women test a man repeatedly, and if he accommodates her she loses respect for him.

It's not about being a jerk towards women, it's about being a man.

That's what women like.

R.Don Steele

His writings worked for me.

He is definitely not about being a "pickup artist". He simply tells men what young females respond to and how to work it.

Besides his dating advice books, his "Office Politics" (intended for women) is the most truthful discussion of corporate culture I have read.

Don't blame Don for this shooting.

re : silencing sarah

michbert,

it will also happen after she has published some of her insightful articles and then publicly contradicts them or demonstrates that she doesn't know the content of her own "writings"

this goes way back

Victimization is the plaintive cry of the great cracker demographic from Maine to Bakersfield.

It is the mental filter through which they express their imagined anguish and gain acceptance and community with their alcoholic and meth crazed brethren.

It existed long before the current framework and has its roots in the Anglo-Scottish diaspora. The GOP uses it to further their agenda; it is imperative that they encourage whites to blame blacks for their problems, and at all costs, prevent blacks and hillbillies from joining towards a common cause.

Original article: Sarah Palin, energy expert

it makes this liberal froth at the mouth

Ok, I started to read her article but it starts out with her talking about herself and the pointless reference to the "chattering class".

I stopped wasting my time at that point. She has nothing to say.

She did not write this article. Doesn't matter to republicans, they want someone who can front for the committee.

They should keep it up, let her publish many more profound and insightful writings.

Sooner or later, she will have to publicly respond to questions on her article points.

Much hilarity will ensue. No amount of study will help her.

Original article: History is bunk after all

not enough comments; maybe recast with a Palin angle

droogoy, here's another great book :

They Were White and They Were Slaves: The Untold History of the Enslavement of Whites in Early America

Talk amongst yourselves.

it ain't funny

some of cohen's early work was funny stuff

Borat was painfully unfunny. He took advantage of good people and the gags fell flat.

Sounds like he is attempting the same shtick on this one. Going after southerners, who are typically pretty decent folks, is lame. He can do better work.

I will pass on Bruno when it shows up on cable.

Original article: Can Palin ever come back?

Palin has abandoned you

Stop with the constant refrain of "left", "ilk", and "libtard".

Palin is finished.

Sad, really. She was the Dems 2012 dream ticket, though she would never have made it out of the primaries.

When the phony-conservtards and their ilk realize she has abandoned them they will tear her apart like angry maggots. Right now they are bleating "Oh, she's comin' back, and you're gonna be real sorry!". Group denial.

Here's a thought you angry, foaming-at-the-mouth rightwing conservtards : Barrack Obama will be reelected in 2012, then Michelle will win the presidency in 2016.

Original article: Boobs, bulimia and breakups

speaking as a troll

rennet voices some compelling concerns regarding Broadsheet, that cistern of man's sexual inhumanity to women. Though frankly I believe the small-penis charge is thrown about here far more than any vaginal comments( after all, the thought is abhorrent to males).

The tagline "boobs, bulimia, and breakups" answers much of her concerns on Broadsheet's motivations. And I agree, the tone here lately has devolved considerably. I used to get schreeching tirades in response to my posts, now, nothing.

Anyway, time to get back to my own confessional : "Gone A-Whorin", filled with bittersweet reminisces as well as practical, yet humorous tips for for achieving self-actualization.
