Chuck Todd is a PUTZ (i dont think ive ever used that term before).
this is another case of the media more concerned about HOW A STORY "PLAYS" than the actual rights-&-wrongs of the matter.
hi*LAR*ious also that Mika Brzezinski thinks that what she does is called "reporting".
"As one journalist put it recently blogs have created the constant dose of the 'Daily ME".
oh yeah, when everyone knows it should be all about the DAILY RICHARD COHEN!
On cspan wash journal just now, USA TODAY reporter parrotting FBI case as if its already been proven.
Also she refers to the "therapist" as "psychiatrist"...she breathlessly exclaims "even his psychiatrist was going to testify against him!"
Outrageous.
have a good vacation!
And the piece remains a disgrace.

yeah, Glenn, why cant ya be more like that nice Charlie Rose?
always so polite & well-groomed!
he was obsessed with a sorority & so he sent antrax to daschle & leahy?!?!
yeah, makes sense.
i thought two DUI convictions were qualifications for Vice-President.
i dont get why, in that article, we are supposed to feel sympathy for her expensive legal fees.
When a person is broke, socially undesirable and sexually repulsive they get to be a sort of expert on Public Radio.
-- Derbig Mooser
that how i got so good @ CSPAN!
*blush*
dont forget the "suicide" of Dr David Kelly!
who manufactures these "long shirts & baggy pants"?
it isnt the kids themselves.
i made a contribution to Dodd, rewarding good behavious...Harry Reid & the DLC can @#&$%ing choke on it.
i sent a contribution to Chris Dodd's campaign this morning, thanking him for standing on principles.
its only the third time ive contributed to a political campaign; the other two times were Donna Edwards & Howard Dean.
i like Bob Graham, & i would l *like* to believe that he wouldve spoken up at the time
i *DO* believe that if he was in on this "virtual tour", it would be reflected in his notes, & i hope that he will address this soon.
its already Monday afternoon & i havent heard a peep from Pelosi...have you?
i thought she would come out swinging today, if not Sunday morning.
whether the WAPO article was a Rove hitpiece or not, Pelosi is not "coming out strong" against it.
i had assumed that dems were supporting telecom immunity because they are beholden to telecom money.
now i have to assume they were in on the spying as well.
when people say they wish we had a three party system, i say "hell, i wish we had a TWO party system!"
*thank you* for making the point that these Democratic enablers are complicit in the crimes of the Bushâ„¢ Administration.
thank you, glenn.
what does "war critic" o'hanlan say?
everytime i read the phrase "the bad stenographer" i think of saint etienne's song THE BAD PHOTOGRAPHER...
keep going, glenn, i am so proud of you.
ive been sending links of this story (& all the updates!) to everyone i know,
you have to wonder why pelosi & reid are keeping their mouths shut & leaving the battle to Glenn Greenwald.
"Mukasey is more likely than not simply a lawyer protecting his client. "
his client is *SUPPOSED* to be the american people, NOT the president...a distinction gonzo could never grasp.
setting aside the issue of PRINCIPLES (as reid obviously has), you would have to braindead to think that the repubs would honor their side of a bargain.
why would they? theyve already got what they want!
when people say that the dems dont stand for anything, i will not be able to defend them anymore. its true; everything & anything is up for bargaining.
glenn, i trust youve seen the new harry reid story

i cant wait to read your take on it.
attaturk has a funny post about chuck & difi today.

Madame Bechtel makes me puke.
Democratic condidates are just assuming they'll be swept into office as a reaction to the current terrible Republican administration.
...but who wants to vote for a VICTIM?!?!?
another interesting facet is how RARELY the wapo publishes an oped by a democrat...
...& then when they do, *this* is what they come up with?!?!?!?!
who oh why would an employee of TIME WARNER opine for telecom amnesty?
i just cant think of any reason.....
i feel like part of this is my fault because i defended jamie gorelick from rightwing smears all during The 911 Commission.
granted, it was just on blogs & no one listens to me, but i believed in her.
i just feel like there is so much betrayal with the dems. the repubs are evil & i know not to trust them; it is heartbreaking & soulcrushing when dems behave the same way...even if it is a "kinder, gentler" fascism.
this news about jaimie gorelick further taints The 911 Commission Report.
it makes me sick.
