  • I'm simply tired of

hearing that Mrs. Clinton's supporters, (and now donors) will abandon the party if she is not the nominee.

It's as if someone felt that they were entitled to the nomination and are being denied what is theirs by right.

If they want to abandon the party, then go! Stop making threats.

In every poll I've seen, shows that it is Clinton supporters who will vote Republican more than Obama supporters if their candidate isn't chosen. I'm going to stand with my party regardless.

Those of you who want Hillary or nothing, I make no apology for saying don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Clinton donors are not threating withholding money from Obama, but from Senate and Congressional races as well!!

And I don't have time for a Hillary Clinton pitty party. There's far too many more important things to worry about. I thought she was the tough one. Were we all supposed to just lay down and hand her the nomination? Did anyone say that Obama passed a c-in-c test and McCain passed a c-in-c test? Did anyone say that as far as they know Hillary Clinton is a Christian?

There's enough bull being thrown around from all sides; but it's the "tough as nails" Clinton people who are threatening to take their ball and go home.

If she wins it, fine; I'll vote for her. Even if Senator Obama holds the lead in pledged delegates and popular vote. I'll support her even though I disrespect every aspect of her campaign. Even after her supporters have called me every name under the sun. Can you say the same?

Does the ideology and philosophy of the party mean nothing? Are Clinton supporters willing to give Republicans additional SCOTUS justices, more war, less choice, no health care plan at all, because Hillary Clinton was treated rough?

Are you a Democrat or a Clintocrat?

We have a Congressional seats to expand seats into. Senate seats to win. Governorships to hold and win.

If you look at the election of 2008 and only think of how Hillary can win, it is you who has been brainwashed by the cult of personality, not I.

When you look at what faces this country and you'll still give money to Republicans because Hillary didn't win the Democratic nomination it is YOU who have drunk the kool-aid, not I.

And if you are willing to see the Democratic nominee lose in November because Hillary isn't the nominee, I'd rather you join the Reoublicans now; because its so much easier to defeat your enemies when you know who they are.

Shouldn't write letters while on fifth glass of wine or in anger. I've done both.

  • Are you people kidding me?

Salon won't ban anyone. Report whomever you want.

As a matter of fact, be true to your Clintonian nature. Tell Salon that if they don't ban all pro-Obama supporters from this site, you'll cancel your subscriptions.

God forbid someone call you a bad name. What a bunch of thin skinned sissies.

I thought Clinton supporters were the hardened warriors.

WHo has called Obama a saint?

Which one of Obama's supporters has said he is perfect?

That's your interpretation of his supporters belief that he is different than any politician who has run for President in a long time. We don't believe Obama is different because he is perfect or won't fight dirty. We believe he is different because he hasn't spent a lifetime near the seat of power.

There is an undeniable change in a person who has lived in a bubble for decades. You begin to understand ordinary Americans less and less. That Obama is not so far removed from worrying about paying his bills, that he hasn't been decades near the seat of power that lobbyists are able to sink their claws too deep to be removed.

That's how he is different. Senator Clinton doesn't understand this. That's why her campaign's attempt to make him look like a regular politician hasn't made a difference. We already know he's a politician. What matters is his soul has not yet been sold to the highest bidder (though it may be on short term lease). That's why for us, saying "35 years of experience" is no different than saying "I'm bought and paid for". If one believes that in order to get to the economic changes we need (ie health care), big lobbyists have to be defeated. You can't do that if the candidate we elect is a wholly owned subsidiary of those very lobbyists.
